UNIMATIC’s Latest Modello Due Timepiece Is Made of Titanium … and Elk

The UNIMATIC Modello Two timepiece takes inspiration from nature, particularly hunting and fishing, as depicted by its latest design. Known as the Modello Due U2S-T-W, this Italian-made watch showcases a blend of organic and industrial elements. Its main body is constructed from titanium, while the strap is genuine elk leather.

This 38.5mm sandblasted titanium watch case comes with a face that has a light olive color, often referred to as “Verde Safari” by the brand. The olive tone complements the intricately patterned, box-stitched elk band. A date window is positioned at the 6-hour mark. The hands and hour markers illuminate brightly in the dark due to UNIMATIC’s SuperLumiNova GL light old radium coating. The second rails and dial accents are finished in a matte black.

In terms of technology, the UNIMATIC Modello Due U2S-T-W boasts an automatic Sellita SW200-1 Swiss movement that can store power for approximately 38 hours. Its 2.7mm thick sapphire crystal dome is enhanced with a reflective coating, and the caseback measures 1.8mm. The large crown stands at 8mm in size, and as per its design influences, the watch is water-resistant up to a depth of 1,000 feet.

If you’re interested in acquiring the UNIMATIC Modello Due U2S-T-W for your watch collection, it is currently up for sale on the brand’s official website. The retail price is set at €1,200 EUR (approximately $1,260 USD), excluding taxes. This special edition is limited to only 150 pieces.
