Unforgotten star confirmed to lead all-new cast of returning hit British drama

Veteran actress Victoria Hamilton has been added to the fresh lineup for the third installment of a popular British show that’s making a comeback.

In the upcoming installment of “The Teacher,” a well-known actor from the sixth season of the ITV crime drama, who portrayed Juliet Cooper, has been announced as the main character. This popular anthology series is produced by 5.

The play will feature Hamilton as Helen, a drama instructor at a well-respected private school who finds it difficult to adapt to contemporary social norms. Troubled by using the appropriate pronouns for a student, Helen is subsequently confronted about her curriculum by a vocal student.

Initially, a disagreement escalates into a dangerous feud, and following an unfortunate incident at school, the tension rises even higher when a video surfaces that seems to implicate Helen and she’s threatened with exposure.
