Unbelievable! Radio Stars Share Shocking Throwback Photos from Their School Days!

Three Australian radio personalities are well-known for their amusing, playful conversations, a trait that has earned them widespread recognition.

Experienced hosts boast extensive backgrounds in the entertainment industry, spanning films, TV shows, stand-up routines, and Australian Football League (AFL) prior to their rise as radio personalities.

One individual kicked off their professional journey in acting on Channel Seven’s Home and Away during the late 80s, whereas another spent their time playing for the Sydney Swans team between 1999 and 2001.

The third has appeared in several well known Aussie TV shows, including Underbelly and The Project.

On Thursday, the group posted some unusual pictures on social media that showed them as kids.

Two of them beamed brightly in school yearbook photos and another was seen riding his bicycle.

Regardless of how different they appeared in the pictures, they retained their trademark mischievous smiles.

Of course, it is Nova breakfast radio stars Ryan Fitzgerald, Michael Wipfli and Kate Ritchie.

On their show, Fitzy & Wippa, along with Kate Ritchie, posted amusing pictures celebrating the return of Sydney’s children to school: ‘Happy first day back at school!! Look at these adorable faces. And for those beginning Kindergarten today, we send you our best wishes – you can do it!’

The threesome has earned a well-deserved fame for their side-splitting conversations on air, as well as standing by one another through tough situations.

This past week, Fitzy, aged 48, and Wippa, aged 45, spoke about the public breakdown experienced by their colleague Kate Ritchie.

A week ago, pictures surfaced showing Ritchie, aged 46, behaving strangely upon collecting her child from school.

During their radio broadcast on Tuesday morning, the duo expressed their solidarity towards their fellow host, expressing pride in her bravery for openly discussing her battles with mental health, following her public announcement.

Over the last few days, the backing for Kate has been astonishingly strong. This struggle continues, and we, Fitzy, will continue to stand by her side until the end.

Wippa added: ‘We are so moved by all the comments and calls here at Nova showing her support.

She’s admirable because she showed courage by raising her hand. I’m incredibly proud of my friend for making a bold statement.

In the past few months, Nova radio personnel have expressed growing worry over Ritchie’s unstable mental condition and her odd behavior. They felt that a public breakdown was imminent.

Individuals connected within the station reached out to Daily Mail Australia this past Tuesday expressing concern that Ritchie might be finding it difficult to handle the pressures associated with her prominent, million-dollar-per-year morning radio role, due to its demanding nature.

A week ago, someone from Nova shared that the situation has become quite concerning for everyone regarding Kate.

She’s decided to take a break during the first week of the new ratings year, which is unusual since it’s her return to air. This could potentially impact the show significantly. At this point, we’re not certain about the reasons or how long this might last – eventually, something will need to change.

On Monday, Ritchie finally spoke up following last week’s incident where she was observed weeping uncontrollably while swaying in a city park. Her little girl was seated in the rear of a parked rental vehicle, with the engine still running.

Previously, Ritchie caught the eye of the photographers when she made a pitstop at a liquor store en route to collect her daughter from her return to elementary school for the first time.

On a recent Instagram post, the actress announced that she’s facing challenges with her mental well-being and plans to temporarily step away from her radio program.

In Ritchie’s temporary departure, it fell upon Chrissie Swan, a colleague on the network, to step in and co-host with Fitzy and Wippa. Simultaneously, she carried on hosting her own self-titled afternoon program.
