Uma Thurman’s Rare Look-Alike Daughter Spotted with Dad and Elle Macpherson

Uma Thurman’s youngest child seldomly joins family outings, but was spotted with them recently, having mostly avoided public attention during her youth.

Thurman’s elder kids, Maya and Levon Hawke (who are from Thurman’s previous marriage with Ethan Hawke), have gained recognition by pursuing acting, just like their renowned parents.

However, Thurman, aged 55, has nurtured a more secluded lifestyle for her youngest daughter, Luna Thurman-Busson, who is 12 years old and is shared with her ex, the French financial manager Arpad Busson, aged 62.

Over the weekend, Flynn Busson, Elle Macpherson‘s older son and half-sibling to Luna, shared unexpected photos of Luna on his Instagram account.

At a graduation event, Luna stood by her elder brother Cy, simultaneously appearing in a monochrome snapshot along with Elle, Flynn, and her father Arpad. This picture was labeled by Flynn as “Family Group” or simply “Fam Bam.

Luna, also known as Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson, donned a comfy sweater paired with a white mini skirt and laid-back black Adidas Sambas.

In a stylish, light-colored satin suit and donning aviator-style sunglasses, her former stepmother affectionately put an arm around her and displayed a radiant grin.

Luna’s sibling Flynn and their dad Arpad were dressed in formal navy suits for business, whereas Cy was wearing his graduation robes.

I excitedly pumped my fist aloft, joining the thrill as Flynn, Cy, and I were captured together in a post-graduation photo, mingling with our fellow companions, the ‘Lads’.

In her brother’s pictures, Luna often appears less frequently because she typically spends more time with their mother, who works diligently to keep Luna’s presence in the public eye minimal compared to her elder siblings.

In an unexpected twist of events during the 2023 premiere of Wes Anderson’s highly praised comedy, Asteroid City, held in the bustling cityscape of New York, I found myself stepping into the limelight for a brief moment. Despite my minor part in this masterpiece, it was quite an unforgettable experience.

Despite not typically attending such gatherings, Luna made an exception this time, posing with her mother, sister, and Levon for photographers.

For the actor from Stranger Things, the occasion became a heartwarming gathering of the entire family. Maya’s father, Ethan, was among those who participated in the celebrations following the screening.

Though much remains unknown about Luna, it has been shared that Uma chose to bestow her daughter with four middle names for a particular reason.

Uma and her former financial partner Arpad Busson rekindled their relationship with ups and downs starting in 2007. They announced their engagement in June of the next year, but ended their engagement in 2009.

Despite the brief separation, Uma and Arpad reconciled in 2010, resuming their engagement once more.

2012 saw Luna’s arrival, yet by 2014, her parents had not tied the knot. In that year, they ended their engagement for the second time, and it appeared they separated permanently.

Back in early 2017, Uma and Arpad found themselves embroiled in a court dispute regarding the care of their youngest child, Luna. In the end, it was Uma who was granted primary physical custody.

Before her relationship with Arpad, Uma Thurman was married twice: firstly from 1990 to 1992 to Oscar laureate Gary Oldman, and then from 1998 to 2005 to Ethan Hawke, whom she met during the filming of their 1997 sci-fi drama “Gattaca”.

They welcomed Maya in 1998 and Levon in 2002, before separating in 2003.
