Ulysse Nardin has released a limited-edition rose gold watch called the Blast Moonstruck. Only 20 of these complex astronomical timepieces will be made. The Blast Moonstruck watch features a 45mm case crafted from 18k rose gold, black titanium, and a black coated bezel. Its complex, layered display shows five different astronomical functions with remarkable accuracy, including a moonphase that will remain correct for over 40 years, lunar day tracking, tidal information, a world time display, and the current positions of the Sun and Moon. A detailed, three-dimensional map of the Northern Hemisphere is suspended above a stunning dial made of black aventurine, which resembles a starry night sky.
The watch is powered by a highly complex, internally-made automatic movement called the UN-106. It contains 338 parts and 42 jewels, and beats at 28,800 times per hour, offering a power reserve of 50 hours. This movement features advanced silicon technology, including a silicon escapement and hairspring created by SIGATEC, which makes it resistant to magnetism and eliminates the need for oil.
