In the latest installment of her Goop podcast, Gwyneth, aged 52, confessed that when her sexual feelings diminish, she experiences a sense of loss or sorrow.

Nevertheless, Ulrika discovered that instead of enjoying a ‘new sexual liberation’ in her fifties, she actually experienced something very different.

In an article for The Sun, she wrote: ‘It’s no shock that after my lengthy, fruitless relationship, I found myself revitalized, like a car with new spark plugs running smoothly on all engines – I had an unquenchable thirst. My sexual desire was insatiable.’

As a committed adherent, I’d like to add another perspective to the discussion. For almost eight years, I have had only two intimate experiences, and interestingly enough, I didn’t engage in such activities during my twenties as well.

At the age of 52, Gwynneth is younger by six years, and we might say she’s slightly behind, but I fully understand her perspective or lack thereof, as she put it herself.

Her remarks came in response to Gwynneth confessing to struggling with her libido. 

She expressed: “I’ve experienced a shift in my sexual identity, leaving me feeling somewhat disconnected from who I am. Whenever my sexual desire or drive seems to diminish, it feels as though I’m grieving.

As a passionate admirer of self-expression, my identity, particularly my sexuality, has always held immense significance in shaping who I am. Lately, I find myself grappling with a certain lack of pleasure or enjoyment, much like a subtle sense of detachment – almost as if colors had faded from my world.

At this moment, there seems to be a hormonal effect that makes all pleasures feel somewhat subdued or less intense.

Over the years since she started her lifestyle brand Goop in 2008, Gwyneth has grown progressively open and outspoken.

She’s made public her collections of preferred vibrators and offered advice for enhancing sexual desire among her audience, suggesting ways to enjoy intimacy more, regardless if it’s with a companion or individually.

Additionally, Gwyneth Paltrow generated a lot of discussion as she frankly shared details about her previous relationships with Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck.

In 2003, the presenter got married for the second time to Lance Gerrard-Wright, who happened to be a participant on her television program titled Mr Right at that time. Together, they have a daughter named Martha, who is now 20 years old.

Apart from her four children, the woman is additionally a mother to a 24-year-old daughter named Bo, whom she shares with an ex-partner, hotelier Marcus Kempen. They parted ways in 2000, having been together for two years prior.
