As a lifelong gamer with over three decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that this week’s Xbox charts have been quite the rollercoaster ride! The return of Madden NFL 25 to the top ten and its impressive debut is a testament to the enduring appeal of American football games. It’s fascinating to see how game genres ebb and flow, with fighting games like Mortal Kombat 1 taking a backseat this week.
As football season is in full flow again, it’s no wonder that EA Sports FC 24 has reclaimed the top spot in the Xbox Series X|S best-sellers this week. This move has bumped Mortal Kombat 1 down to third place, creating an opportunity for F1 24 to take over the second position.
As a long-time fan of both American football and video games, I can confidently say that Madden NFL 25 has piqued my interest as it takes center stage this week as the highest new entry. Having played the original release a few years ago, I can attest to its engaging storyline and immersive gameplay, making this complete edition an enticing prospect for those who may have missed out initially or want to revisit the world of The Witcher.
