UK Eurovision Act Vows Tattoos for Top Five or Nul Points

As a die-hard fan, I’ve made a solemn promise to myself that if the brilliant UK Eurovision act Remember Monday miraculously makes it into the coveted top five, I’ll get inked! But oh, the horror of it all, if they suffer a heartbreaking ‘zero points’ finish, I fear the pain of that disappointment might just be too much to bear.

The group made up of Charlotte, Holly, and Lauren plans to play their song “What The Hell Just Happened?” as they strive to win the glory of Eurovision in the upcoming month.

In the upcoming competition, scheduled for Basel, Switzerland in May, the United Kingdom doesn’t have a strong history of success, as evidenced by Olly Alexander scoring zero points last year.

If Monday’s situation turns out like Olly’s, they plan to ink the abbreviation of their song WTHJH? somewhere on each team member’s body as a symbol of solidarity.

If they finish among the top five teams, they’ve chosen to fulfill their pledge as well.

They announced on Instagram on Monday that if the team scores in the top five or higher, everyone on the team must get the initials ‘WTHJH’ permanently inked on their bodies.

We’re determined to make this work, regardless of the response. Are you with me on this, absolutely! It’s going to materialize, it’s going to materialize. It needs to happen. If we end up in last place with no points, that’s still something worth commemorating permanently.

This three-piece band consists of the closest of friends, known for their powerful vocal performances and seamlessly harmonized tunes.

As a lifestyle aficionado, I’d like to draw your attention to the sensational group that stole the spotlight when they made their debut on our television screens in 2019 – Monday. They captured hearts and gained fame by making it all the way to the Quarter-Finals during their stint on The Voice UK.

This morning, the band made their intentions clear for participating in Eurovision when they were invited guests on The Scott Mills Morning Program on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.

Following several weeks of anticipation, Scott announced, “A song isn’t considered a Eurovision entry until I deem it so. I’m eagerly looking forward to supporting the act that will represent us, and I’m confident you’ll be smitten with them. They are genuinely talented and truly delightful.

On Monday, the band Remember is scheduled to appear on television for the first time since announcing they’d be featured on The One Show last Friday. During this broadcast, they plan to unveil the official music video for their song.

Reflect on the song “What The Hell Just Happened?” from Monday’s Eurovision entry, which narrates the events that unfold following an enjoyable night spent with companions.

I’m thrilled to share that this group makes history as the first girl band to represent the United Kingdom in a competition since 1999, marking a significant milestone in the music scene.

I’m thrilled to share that the freshly released tune I’m following is a vibrant pop number brimming with energy, excitement, and drama. This masterpiece was collaboratively penned by none other than Billen Ted, comprising Tom Hollings and Sam Brennan, Thomas Stengaard, and Julie ‘Kill J’ Aagaard.

The girls appear poised for success, given they’ve collaborated with notable artists like Little Mix, Anne-Marie, MNEK, and Armin van Buuren, among others, which has earned them BRIT Award nominations as Billen Ted.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but be thrilled about the musical collaboration between Thomas Stengaard, who crafted Denmark’s 2013 Eurovision triumph with “Only Teardrops,” and Julie ‘Kill J’ Aagaard, a multi-platinum songwriter and a trailblazer in experimental pop. This union promises an exciting blend of talent and innovation that I can hardly wait to hear!

Besides being popular for their uplifting pop music, Remember Monday has gained significant recognition for catchy tunes that often go viral on social platforms. They have accumulated more than half a million dedicated fans and amassed over 11.3 million likes solely on TikTok.

The band has creatively reworked lively a cappella versions of various artists’ songs, including Sabrina Carpenter, Queen, Shania Twain, and even those from the musical “Wicked.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’ve had quite a bit of experience gracing stages in front of live audiences over the years, especially since our bond was formed back at sixth form in 2013. We’ve become a familiar sight on music festival circuits, and last year marked a significant milestone for us as we embarked on our first sold-out tour across the UK.

In the year 2023, I made the decision to leave my daily employment behind and devote myself entirely to our band. Before this, I had the privilege of gracing the stages of West End productions.

Here are some characters that were mentioned: Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera (performed by Holly), Mary Poppins (portrayed by Charlotte), and Matilda (played by Lauren). Notably, all of them have taken on leading roles in the SIX tour.

So far, the band Remember Monday has put out two EPs and twelve singles, emphasizing their striking three-part harmonies and thoughtful, sincere, and genuine songwriting.

As their radio, press, and media backing expanded, the band landed a spot for national airplay on Scott Mills’ Afternoon Program on BBC Radio 2 in the year 2024.

On The Voice, their mentor Jennifer Hudson has consistently offered guidance and encouragement, even inviting them for a performance on her American talk show last year.
