Ugly” Basin Sparks Fury: “It’s Awful!
Star from Married At First Sight, Martha Kalifatidis, has ignited excitement among her followers by posting a picture of an unconventional bathroom sink she intends to add to her remodeled residence.
The influencer, aged 36, posted a picture showcasing their planned modification – a vibrant ’70s-inspired sink, protruding from the wall.
Many of her followers are puzzled by the design, with its visible plumbing and lack of cabinet area.
The standout, vintage-style item boasts a lone tap and a distinctively bright yellow shade, quite different from the minimalistic, contemporary look that some anticipated.
Later on, Martha disclosed that her inbox was filled with messages from fans, who were critical of the proposed installation and urged her to change her mind about it.
As a connoisseur of contemporary aesthetics, I must confess that the basin in question is far from pleasing to my eye. It seems as though it hails from a bygone era, reminiscent of the design trends prevalent in the 1970s – a time I’d rather forget when it comes to interior decor.
‘It’s awful doll!’ a second person wrote.
The reality TV star then begged her followers to stop messaging her.
‘Guys, everyone needs to chill over the basin. This is why I mind my own business,’ Martha wrote.
Martha has developed a reputation for being outspoken on social media.
In September, she hit back at online trolls who accused her of sponging off her parents.
I reside in the Melbourne home of my beloved parents, Mary and Theo, sharing this space with my loving partner, Michael Brunelli, who is 34 years old, as well as our precious one-year-old son, Lucius.
Martha and Michael have become one of Married at First Sight’s most enduring love stories, with their partnership thriving more than five years since they first met as part of the marriage experiment.
The television personality responded boldly on Instagram to a query posed by a spectator, addressing it directly with no mincing of words.

They inquired as to why the two of you, including Michael, don’t cover your own expenses like most people do, given the manner in which the young family is currently residing.
Martha rejected the claim she was sponging off her parents.
She said the decision to live with Theo and Mary was not financially motivated.
‘Our living arrangement has nothing to do with money,’ she wrote.
‘It’s unfortunate that you might think we stay with my parents for personal gain, but let me assure you, that assumption couldn’t be further from reality.’
She added her young family’s current living situation was beneficial to all involved.
Martha rose to fame on season six of MAFS Australia in 2019.
After honing her skills as a makeup artist, she expanded her professional horizon, becoming recognized as a social media influencer, model, spokesperson for various brands, and a prominent figure in reality television.
