UFC Vegas 95: Marcin Tybura vs. Sergey Spivak fight card, channel guide, betting odds

As a seasoned MMA enthusiast who’s been following the UFC since the early days of PRIDE FC, I must admit that UFC Vegas 95 isn’t shaping up to be the most thrilling event on the calendar. The lack of star power and last-minute cancellations have certainly taken a toll, but as they say, every fight is a rollercoaster ride until the first punch lands!

On August 10 (this coming Saturday), the UFC will return from the Middle East for a Fight Night event in Las Vegas, but the event, UFC Vegas 95, is receiving less attention because it lacks major stars and some fights have fallen apart at the last moment.

The star attraction will be a heavyweight clash between Marcin Tybura, currently ranked 8th (with a record of 25 wins, 8 losses and zero draws), and Serghei Spivac, who holds the 9th spot (16 wins, 4 losses). They’re set to face off again, having previously met in 2020 where Tybura secured a unanimous decision victory.

As of our latest update, it appears that the highly anticipated co-main fight between Chris Gutierrez (20-5-2) and Javid Basharat (14-1-0) has been called off. It remains to be seen whether they will reschedule one of these fighters or if a completely new co-main event will take its place.

The full betting odds for UFC Vegas 95 can be found on DraftKings but we’ll cover the main event odds here. Now now it’s a pick me fight with Tybura at -110 and Spivak at -108. It’s probably due to the first fight being low energy and quite frankly, pretty boring. It’s a hard sell for the UFC this weekend.
