UFC Vegas 94 live results & highlights

As a seasoned gamer and avid UFC fan, I am thrilled to witness yet another exciting fight night with UFC Vegas 94. The UFC’s return to the Apex facility is always a treat for us fans, especially after their recent international events in Saudi Arabia and Las Vegas.

On July 20, UFC returns to its training facility, UFC APEX, for another action-packed fight night. After three events – the inaugural promotion in Saudi Arabia at Kingdom Arena, UFC International Fight Week with UFC 303 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and UFC Denver at Ball Arena – this marks a homecoming before the UFC heads to Manchester, England for UFC 304.

At UFC Vegas 94, the main event will feature two experienced Brazilian strawweight fighters: Amanda Lemos in the third spot and Virna Jandiroba holding the fifth rank. They both began their pro MMA journeys about ten years ago.

Formally, Lemos and Jandiroba have contended for the women’s strawweight title in different promotions. With a combined fighting experience of 41 bouts under their belts, their upcoming encounter is expected to ignite sparks and potentially determine the next title contender against Zhang Weili. They headline a total of twelve fights on the card.

An unexpected turn of events caused the highly anticipated co-main matchup between Brad Tavares and Junyong Park to be canceled. With Park being declared unable to fight due to health concerns, their scheduled professional bout was unfortunately scrapped. The remainder of the event’s lineup carried on, simply advancing by one slot.

I’m excited about the upcoming co-main event featuring Steve Garcia and Seungwoo Choi in the featherweight division. Garcia has won his last three fights, while Choi secured his first victory since 2021. Both athletes had their previous bouts in 2023, making this their first fights of the year. This encounter could establish the tone for their performances throughout 2024.

Kurt Holobaugh and Kaynan Kruschewsky are set for a less heavyweight encounter. Holobaugh gained entry into the UFC following The Ultimate Fighter season 31 and made his debut at UFC 292. Similarly, Kruschewsky earned a UFC contract after appearing on Contender Series in 2023. Kruschewsky, who lost his first UFC bout, aims to recover from that setback.

In the only men’s flyweight fight on the bill, ranked no. 14 Cody Durden faces off against Bruno Silva. With a three-fight win streak under his belt, Silva aims to dethrone Durden and claim the rank himself. Durden, looking for a comeback victory, is determined to keep his position. The opening bout on the main card will be between Dooho Choi and Bill Algeo in the featherweight division, while the rest of the card promises more thrilling matches.

Two more fights featuring female fighters in the flyweight division are scheduled for the event. Miranda Maverick and Dion Barbosa aim to add victories to their records in their bout, while extending their winning streaks. In another flyweight contest, Lucie Pudilova seeks to disrupt Luana Carolina’s winning streak and get back on track herself. Both fights will be part of the preliminary lineup.

This page will be updated live throughout the night as the action unfolds.
