UFC 304 live results & highlights

As a dedicated UFC fan with years of experience following the sport, I am beyond excited for UFC 304! The fact that it’s returning to Manchester, England is an added bonus as we have two highly anticipated rematches in the main and co-main event.

UFC makes a comeback to Manchester, England for the first time since UFC 204 with two rematches headlining the main and co-main events. Leon Edwards and Tom Aspinall of England aim to set things right after their initial bouts against their foes ended in disputed results.

Edwards last tasted defeat in 2015, and he’ll aim for his third title defense against Belal Muhammad at UFC Vegas 21. Their initial encounter ended unexpectedly due to an accidental eye poke. Since then, Muhammad has been unbeaten, with his most recent victory being against former title contender Gilbert Burns in UFC 288.

At UFC 295, Aspinall emerged victorious in his interim heavyweight title bout versus Sergei Pavlovich. Subsequently, he’s scheduled to encounter Curtis Blaydes in an upcoming fight. In their previous meeting at UFC London, Aspinall sustained a knee injury during the first round against Blaydes. Most recently, Blaydes secured a victory over Jailton Almeida at UFC 299.

In the headlining match of the main event, No. 15-ranked lightweight contender King Green (formerly known as Bobby) will face off against hometown favorite Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett from Liverpool. Green is fresh off a victory against Jim Miller at UFC 300, while Pimblett has inked a new deal with the UFC and boasts an impressive seven-bout win streak, including his latest triumph over Tony Ferguson at UFC 296.

At the beginning of the undercard, featherweight fighters Nathaniel Wood and Daniel Pineda will take center stage. Most recently, Wood suffered a defeat against Muhammad Naimov at UFC 294. Meanwhile, Pineda lost to Alex Caceres in their last outing at UFC Vegas 74.

At UFC Vegas, Molly McCann, known for her meatball-shaped moniker, is set to make her comeback in the octagon against Bruna Brasil. Most recently, McCann emerged victorious against Diana Belbita during UFC Vegas 85. On the other hand, Brasil endured a loss against Loma Lookboonmee at UFC Vegas 86 prior to this encounter.

At the initial bouts, welterweights Oban Elliott and Preston Parsons take center stage. Elliott boasts a six-victory winning streak, claiming his first UFC triumph over Val Woodburn during UFC 298. Parsons follows with a victory against Matthew Semelsberger at UFC Vegas 84.

At the early prelims of the upcoming UFC event, ranked flyweights Muhammad Mokaev and Manel Kape are set to face off against each other. This fight was initially scheduled for the main card but got moved to the prelims and later to the early prelims. The tension between these two athletes has been escalating, resulting in a heated altercation at the fighter hotel during fight week.

At the beginning of the event, Mick Parkin from England, who emerged victorious in Dana White’s Contender Series and boasts an unbeaten record of 9-0, will square off against Lukasz Brzeski. Most recently, Parkin claimed victory over Mohammed Usman, the winner of The Ultimate Fighter season 30, at UFC Vegas 89. Brzeski, on the other hand, secured his first UFC win against Valter Walker during UFC Vegas 90.
