Tyla Scores Prime PFW Seating Next to Fashion Icon Anna Wintour

Tyla was beaming with joy as she successfully claimed a coveted front row seat next to Anna Wintour at Chanel’s Paris Fashion Week presentation on Tuesday.

A 23-year-old South African vocalist was among the high-profile attendees at a fashion event featuring Naomi Campbell (a renowned model) and Jessica Alba (an acclaimed actress).

Tyla snagged an excellent vantage point, sitting next to the renowned fashion icon Anna, who is 75 years old, on the first row at the Grand Palais.

She gleamed with a grin, sitting confidently next to the chief editor of Vogue, afforded a sneak peek at the upcoming fall 2025/2026 fashion collection in an exclusive capacity.

It’s clear that Tyla secured her seat due to being selected as the March 2025 cover star for British Vogue, a significant milestone in her career since it was her debut on the esteemed publication’s cover.

She made history as the first South African artist to appear on the cover of British Vogue due to her remarkable accomplishment, and she expressed her gratitude towards Anna for providing this opportunity.

Accompanied by Anna, Tyla strutted outside for the Chanel fashion event, showing off her long legs in a trendy ensemble consisting of a mini skirt, strapless top, and cropped jacket, all in a pretty pink color.

The stylish woman added a bit of height with some black high-heels and finished off her look with a striking silver Chanel necklace as an accent piece.

At the same time, Anna was stylishly dressed in a coordinated gray knit outfit adorned with shimmering gold accents and strands of vibrant red beads.

I paired my striking outfit with a crisp white T-shirt and accentuated my look with sleek snakeskin-patterned heeled boots as a dedicated follower of fashion.

As a die-hard admirer, I adorn myself with striking, ornate gold necklaces that are simply chunky, and my signature sunglasses are never far away as they perfectly complement the fashionable ensemble I’ve put together.

The renowned Grand Palais, which recently showcased the new collection, is an esteemed location steeped in history, having hosted Chanel fashion shows for numerous decades.

Today marks the last day of Paris Fashion Week, with Saint Laurent wrapping up the event later in the day after the shows by Chanel and Miu Miu have taken place.

In the previous year, Matthieu Blazy – a designer with dual citizenship from France and Belgium – took over as the creative director for Chanel following his departure from Bottega Veneta.

However, enthusiasts of fashion won’t get a glimpse of Matthieu’s debut collection until October, which falls within the Spring 2026 fashion season.

On the eve prior to the Chanel presentation, Tyla delighted in an exciting evening of celebration for her Vogue magazine cover, right here in the city of Paris.

Tyla was accompanied by the popular figures such as Ice Spice, Alexa Chung, and Chioma Nnadi, who serves as the head of editorial content for British Vogue, during the festivities at Bar des Près Paris.

She used her Instagram Stories to record the events of the party, which included savoring hors d’oeuvres, dancing through the night with her companions, and even speaking into a microphone.

On that special event, Tyla chose an eye-catching ensemble, sporting a unique denim minidress featuring voluminous sleeves and a tiered white skirt underneath.

She paired her stylish outfit with black tights and high-heels, exuding a joyful mood while celebrating the first time she graced the cover of British Vogue.
