Two upcoming Colleen Hoover movies announce exciting new cast additions
The forthcoming movie adaptations of Colleen Hoover‘s works, specifically “Regretting You” and “Reminders of Him”, have recently unveiled some thrilling new cast members.
After the hit movie adaptation of “It Ends With Us” in the previous year, more films based on Hoover’s novels are being produced for Hollywood, with releases scheduled for both 2019 and 2022.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal has secured the services of Maika Monroe from “Longlegs” for the film version of “Reminders of Him.” Vanessa Caswill, who previously directed “Love at First Sight,” is slated to direct this adaptation.

In addition to acting in “Get Out” and “M3GAN”, Allison Williams, Scott Eastwood from “Fast X”, and Dave Franco of “The Disaster Artist” will also be featured in the movie. The film, titled “Regretting You“, is directed by Josh Boone who previously worked on “The Fault in Our Stars“. This upcoming production delves into the poignant theme of grief as it follows a family reeling from a devastating car crash that claims the lives of two of its members.
Furthermore, Amazon’s MGM Studio is likewise transforming a work by Hoover titled “Verity,” with Anne Hathaway portraying the main role. In addition to this, Josh Hartnett and Dakota Johnson are also part of the stellar cast.
Despite being a significant financial hit, “It Ends With Us” has been marred by controversy stemming from reported conflicts between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni on set. Their absence from joint press interviews fueled speculation about off-camera friction.
As a gaming enthusiast, “I can’t wait for the release of ‘Remembering Him’, but unfortunately, they haven’t announced a date yet. On the other hand, ‘Regretting You’ is hitting the big screen on October 24.
