Crunchyroll, LLC has revealed that their 2D fighting game titled “Two Strikes” will debut on May 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Versions for Android and iOS devices are expected to follow shortly through the Crunchyroll Game Vault. This game is being developed by Retro Reactor and currently offers early access on PC.

I find myself attracted to the game’s awe-inspiring artwork and animation, reminiscent of manga, that skillfully conveys the essence of ancient Japan. Furthermore, I eagerly anticipate engaging in combat as diverse characters such as Kenji, Tomoe, Yasuke, and others, each with their distinct pasts and fighting techniques to learn and perfect.
Following on from “One Strike”, it appears that this new version offers significant upgrades. Enhanced graphics, eight distinct characters, online multiplayer compatibility, an extended narrative mode, Shinigami’s Tournament, a deep historical backdrop, and more are among the improvements. To excel in this game, you’ll need to perfect your block techniques and time your strikes accurately.
The game “Two Strikes” is about to debut on Android and iOS devices through Crunchyroll’s Game Vault, with additional platforms following suit on May 23, 2025.
