Two more true crime docuseries coming to Hulu this July, including season 2 of How I Caught My Killer

As a true crime enthusiast who has spent countless hours poring over intriguing cases and their investigations, I can’t help but feel both captivated and disturbed by Hulu’s latest offerings. The second season of “How I Caught My Killer” and the new docuseries “Betrayal: A Father’s Secret” have taken residence in my streaming queue, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

Hulu is packed with intriguing true crime shows, featuring the latest additions such as “Perfect Wife: The Sherri Papini Case” and “Mastermind: The Art of Deception.” Currently, you can indulge in a new season of a true crime series and a fresh docuseries on Hulu for your binge-watching pleasure.

As a huge fan of “How I Caught My Killer,” I’m thrilled to share that the second season made its debut on Hulu on July 23rd. With all ten episodes now accessible, true crime enthusiasts like me are in for a treat! In this captivating series, we’re granted access to interviews with real-life participants, archival footage, and gripping reenactments of bizarre murder cases. What sets “How I Caught My Killer” apart is the intriguing twist: each victim left behind clues that ultimately led to their killers’ capture.

A diverse group of individuals was affected, including a missing Mennonite churchgoer last seen in the parking lot, a pregnant teacher, and a rapper found shot in his home. Through the use of photographs, social media updates, letters, videos, and other digital evidence, authorities were ultimately able to make an arrest in each case.

In the end, the complex investigations into these crimes solved by victims reveal a troubling reality in modern America: unfortunately, our national shortcomings often prevent many people from receiving justice.

Betrayal: A Father’s Secret (Jul. 30)

As a true crime enthusiast who has spent countless hours listening to podcasts and watching documentaries, I can confidently say that “Betrayal: A Father’s Secret” (Hulu Original) is a must-watch for anyone intrigued by real-life mysteries and investigative journalism. This docuseries represents the next installment in the “Betrayal” franchise, following its predecessor “Betrayal: The Perfect Husband” on ABC.

An apparent normal family in Utah, consisting of Jason and Ashley Lytton and their three kids, were living contentedly. However, their tranquil life took an unexpected turn when it was revealed that Jason, who was both a popular football coach and an electrician, had hidden disturbing images of children aged between 8 and 15 on his computer, as reported by ABC News.

Jason faced accusations for more than 100 instances of sexual exploitation. In the end, according to ABC News, he admitted guilt for one sexual exploitation charge and two voyeurism charges. The remaining charges were dropped permanently. For information on sentencing, please refer to the source.
