Twilight gets new free UK streaming home after being removed from Disney+

Last year when Disney+ took down the Twilight movies from their catalog, it threw a wrench in my plans to rewatch them. But don’t worry, fellow gamer, this captivating vampire saga has found a new streaming platform – one that doesn’t even need a subscription!

In the United Kingdom, the initial film from the series featuring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson is now available on ITVX. Unlike services like Disney+, there’s no requirement for a subscription fee to watch content on ITV’s own streaming service.

2008 saw the debut of the film adaptation, Twilight, which was based on the novel series penned by Stephenie Meyer. This movie narrates the romantic tale between the melancholic teen Bella Swan (Stewart) and the radiant vampire Edward Cullen (Pattinson). The story unfolds against a backdrop of an epic struggle between good and evil that continues to play out across four subsequent films.

From now on, you can relive the story on ITVX, however, keep in mind that unfortunately not all “Twilight” films are available for streaming; only four out of the five can be found on this platform instead.

In the sequence of films, “New Moon,” the second installment that delves into the heart-wrenching separation between Edward and Bella, is currently unavailable for viewing. Therefore, if you wish to follow the whole storyline, you might need to resort to streaming, renting, or purchasing it from other sources.

Both Stewart and Pattinson have come a long way since shooting to worldwide fame with Twilight.

Following her role in the post-apocalyptic romance “Love Me” alongside Steven Yeun, Stewart is now preparing to sink her teeth into a new project – the vampire thriller titled “Flesh of the Gods“, directed by Panos Cosmatos and featuring Oscar Isaac as well.

Regarding Pattinson, he plays the lead character in Bong Joon-ho’s eagerly awaited science fiction film titled “Mickey 17,” which has been rescheduled for a release in April following several postponements.

Twilight is streaming on ITVX. All sequels except for New Moon can be found on the same platform.
