TV adventurer Levison Wood secretly welcomes his first child with girlfriend Ana Protasio as his partner shares the baby girl’s sweet name

Levison Wood, who was once considered one of Britain’s most desirable bachelors, has become a father and is no longer single.

I was so thrilled to hear that my favorite TV star, who’s 43, quietly became a dad back in August! He and his girlfriend, Ana Protasio – they just recently started sharing their relationship online this summer – welcomed a beautiful baby girl named Maya. Ana shared the news on her Instagram, and I couldn’t be happier for them both!

In August, the former model, now a yoga teacher, shared a photo on social media of their new baby, who had dark hair and was wrapped in a white blanket.

As a new mom, I was so excited to finally share the news of my daughter’s arrival! I wrote ‘Maya Katharine Lima Wood 07/08’ – marking her birthdate – and honestly, for the first few days, it felt like I was holding my entire world in my arms. It’s a feeling I’ll never forget!

No words can truly capture how wonderful it is to be your mother. I love you so much, my daughter!

People immediately congratulated him, but Levison hasn’t shared any photos or announced the arrival of his baby yet.

In June, the great outdoors lover took to Instagram to hard launch his attractive new girlfriend.

The author, a former Army officer, shared that while he’s met lots of people during his travels, Ana was truly special. She didn’t just join the trip; she completely transformed it.

We’ve been through a lot together recently – lots of exciting experiences, tough moments, and dedicated effort. Now, we’re looking forward to a promising new beginning.

I’ve always admired people who are honest about what they want, and this explorer is no exception! He’s openly shared his wish to find a partner, and even tried his luck with dating apps – which I think is totally relatable. It takes courage to put yourself out there, and I applaud him for being so upfront about his desire for connection.

In a 2021 interview with the Daily Mail, the former soldier explained that he had no issue with using dating apps, stating he used them whenever he felt like it.

‘That is how people meet these days, isn’t it? How else can you meet your woman?’

Levison shared what he finds attractive in people, explaining that he doesn’t believe in labeling or categorizing them.

Honestly, when it comes to attraction, for me it’s all about personality. A woman who’s smart, engaging, and genuinely fun – that’s what really draws me in. What she *does* for a living? It’s honestly not even on my radar. It’s about who she *is* as a person.

‘It is also about being comfortable in somebody’s company and enjoying spending time with them.’

After lockdown Levison was the victim of stalking, with the perpetrator jailed for 13 months.

Dr. Fiza Jabeen frightened Wood so much for his and his family’s well-being that he chose to sell his house in London.

After relocating, and even after a restraining order was issued against her, Jabeen found him again and went to his home in Richmond.

The doctor received a 13-month jail sentence after pleading guilty to stalking and harassing a television personality by sending them offensive and explicit messages on social media.

In this series of shows, Levison shares stories from his incredible 20 years as an explorer, recounting both wonderful and heartbreaking experiences.

While traveling the 4,000-mile length of the Nile River from Rwanda to Egypt with explorer Matt Power, a journalist tragically died from heatstroke. According to Levison, this death remains a deeply affecting memory.

Levison came incredibly close to losing his life in 2015 while trekking through the Himalayas.

As a lifestyle adventurer, I’ve faced some pretty incredible challenges – from coming face-to-face with tigers and crocodiles to even encountering a cannibal tribe on my travels. But honestly? The thing that almost got me wasn’t any of that. It was a simple, short car ride! You just never know what life will throw your way, do you?

As night approached and they had no place to stay, Levison and his team squeezed into an SUV and hired the driver to take them to the closest town, hoping to find somewhere to sleep.

While driving along a dangerous mountain road, the vehicle’s brakes failed, causing it to plunge over a cliff and into a deep valley.

I still can’t believe it! Levison and everyone else *made it*! I read his words, and honestly, it gave me chills – he just said, ‘We are lucky to be alive.’ Lucky doesn’t even *begin* to cover it! It’s a miracle, truly. I’ve been following his journey for years, and to hear they all survived… I’m just so relieved!
