As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I’ve seen dinosaurs come and go – from the Jurassic Park era to the latest reboots. So when Saber Interactive announced Turok: Origins, I was intrigued. The switch to third-person perspective is a bold move, but as someone who’s dabbled in both, I’m game.
Saber Interactive unveils a new take on the original dinosaur-shooting game, Turok: Origins. Unlike its predecessors that usually offer a first-person viewpoint, this version introduces a third-person perspective and supports single player mode as well as cooperative play for up to three players.
In “Turok: Origins,” you’ll experience a revamped design, captivating narrative, and gameplay mechanics. You’ll assume the role of powerful Turok warriors, battling dinosaurs and a chilling alien menace intent on annihilating humanity. Who wouldn’t want to join the fray?
As a gamer, I can unleash an array of powerful attacks with an assortment of weapons like plasma rifles, ray guns, snipers, bows, shotguns, and others. By capturing the genetic code of vanquished foes, I can boost my arsenal, giving me access to improved DNA abilities that not only alter my appearance but also offer upgradable skills too!
In a diverse range of planetary landscapes, ranging from barren canyons to lush jungles, the revival of the dinosaur-themed shooter, Turok: Origins, is planned for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. A launch date has not been announced as of now.
