In 2021, the English shoe brand Clarks, which originated in Somerset, commemorates its bicentennial – an achievement seldom attained. To celebrate this significant landmark, the footwear label will set up a special temporary shop in central Berlin.
Over the past three days, we’ve been immersed in an extensive exploration of Clark’s significant global impact, spanning decades of footwear creation. The event has featured iconic silhouettes such as the Wallabee, Desert Boot, and Desert Trek, showcasing their timeless designs. Additionally, the creative studio Adaptism is conducting a customization workshop, delving deeper into Clark’s design evolution. As a unique feature of this activation, attendees have an opportunity to personalize two exclusive Wallabee models using leather patches sourced from Clarks Originals factory leftovers following their recent collaboration.
In addition to the celebrations, Clarks will be exhibiting its collection of 200th anniversary films highlighting past partners, influential figures in culture, and talented designers. Visitors attending the event are cordially invited to take a seat and watch these presentations while indulging in culinary delights from Jerk Master or delightful confections from Café Tonton.
