Turkey Day trio Post Malone, Jack White and Lil Jon to headline NFL Thanksgiving halftime shows

Give thanks, NFL fans, the headliners are set for this year’s Thanksgiving Day halftime shows.

Jack White will start the entertainment at the Detroit Lions’ Thanksgiving game against the Green Bay Packers. Post Malone will perform during the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs, and Lil Jon will perform at the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals game.

Haley Lu Richardson and Jack Quaid announced the news in Instagram videos on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Ravens confirmed last week that Lil Jon will be appearing at M&T Bank Stadium.

Music

This year’s country music festival in Indio will include performances by Brooks & Dunn, Ella Langley, Bailey Zimmerman, and more.

I was so excited to see Jack White’s latest Instagram post! It was filmed at his Third Man Pressing plant in Detroit, and featured this amazing electric blue vinyl record – still warm from the press – announcing his upcoming show at Ford Field. It was a really cool way to share the news!

In a preview for the Super Bowl ad, Post Malone is shown driving down a Texas highway while a radio announcer promotes “the biggest game and one of the biggest artists ever.”

Post Malone and the Dallas Cowboys mascot, Rowdy, are making a grand entrance to AT&T Stadium in a large truck, hauling a massive Salvation Army bucket. They accidentally hit a sign in Jerry Jones’ parking space and then encounter Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey – the same player who signed Malone’s jersey last year before a game against the Giants. This event is launching the Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign.

It makes sense that Malone was chosen to perform, considering he grew up in Texas and his father used to work at Cowboys games.

Soccer

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey used to play soccer before becoming a football player. He’s part of a growing trend of athletes switching from soccer to become successful NFL kickers.

Post Malone made a brief appearance in last year’s Emmy-winning NFL Christmas Day halftime show featuring Beyoncé, where he performed their song “Levii’s Jeans” with her.
