As a seasoned gamer of TV shows, I can confidently say that the streaming landscape this September has been nothing short of exhilarating! From the gripping suspense of Tell Me Lies to the intriguing spy-drama of Slow Horses , and the irresistible charm of The Perfect Couple, there’s been a plethora of engaging content that has kept me glued to my screen.

2024’s September kickoff has been fantastic for TV enthusiasts like us, with an abundance of new shows and seasons gracing our streaming platforms. The variety is simply thrilling! Some standout hits from the initial days are the second season of “Tell Me Lies”, the fourth season of “Slow Horses”, and “The Perfect Couple”.

There’s still lots more in store for us! This past week has seen several debuts, and we’ve got even more to anticipate as the month isn’t over yet. One step at a time, though! Among the shows mentioned earlier in the week, several have already begun airing, and they’re undoubtedly excellent. However, the only series debuting this coming weekend is “Tulsa King” season 2. Don’t forget to save the date: Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024 on Paramount+.

One episode will be released, and the premiere will be followed up by one new installment weekly until the finale. The season has a total of 10 episodes to look forward to. We shared the episode release schedule below:

In the second season, character Dwight (played by Sylvester Stallone) must work hard to expand and protect his expanding domain in the city named in the title, as suggested by the synopsis. The police force, the Kansas City mob, and a particularly influential local entrepreneur are all attempting to bring him down. I speculate that this powerful businessman is the new cast member Neal McDonough, who brings an extra layer of excitement to the show. As always, Dwight has a lot on his plate, but he’s ready for the challenge!

How to Die Alone

It seems I’m craving a fresh, hilarious comedy to spice up my viewing schedule, and “How to Die Alone” has caught my attention so far! I adore that it blends humor with poignant moments of self-discovery, encouraging personal growth. I can assure you, this is definitely worth your time. Here’s a brief overview:

Starring Natasha Rothwell, How to Die Alone follows Mel, a broke, fat, Black JFK airport employee who’s never been in love and forgotten how to dream, until an accidental brush with death catapults her on a journey to finally take flight and start living by any means necessary.

Over the premiere weekend, it’s ideal to binge-watch the initial four episodes of the show. The season consists of eight episodes in total, and from then on, a fresh episode will be available every week until the final episode on October 11, 2024.

Alongside Rothwell, Melissa is played by Conrad Ricamora (as Rory), Jocko Sims (as Alex), and KeiLyn Durrel Jones (in the role of Terrance).
