Tulisa’s Stunning Transformation: From Health Struggles to Glamorous Makeup Reveal!
On Wednesday, after gracing the stage at The Gaydio Awards in Manchester, I showcased a bold stroke of makeup in an Instagram post, leaving quite an impression.
In a stunning mirror selfie, the 36-year-old vocalist, known for her altered lips and facial ink, showcased her slimmed-down visage.
She proudly displayed her slender figure in a snug red jumpsuit that reached up to her thighs, paired with tall black boots.
Tulisa flaunted her vibrant red lipstick and long, striking fake lashes, giving a glimpse of the outcome of her beauty enhancements on full display.
Previously, the N-Dubz celebrity disclosed that her facial appearance underwent a transformation due to a painful 12-year struggle with her health.
In 2020, the performer was identified as having Bell’s Palsy, which is a condition stemming from damage or malfunction of the facial nerve, leading to partial or complete facial paralysis on one side.

Despite initially aiming to smooth out her looks with fillers, she found herself trapped in a harmful loop where the fillers caused her face to become inflamed and swollen.
On Olivia Attwood’s podcast So Wrong It’s Right this month, I opened up about the challenges I faced, particularly when my group and I returned to the music scene in 2022 after an 11-year hiatus. We marked our comeback with a new tour and single release, which was quite a journey!
In Olivia Attwood’s podcast, I talked about the difficulties I experienced when my group and I came back to the music scene in 2022 after a long break. We celebrated our return with a new tour and single release, which was quite an adventure!
After conducting an ultrasound examination on her face, the doctor discovered three long-standing, infected cysts in her cheek. One of these cysts was particularly large and burst during a surgical exploration process.
Tulisa stated: “I don’t know their origin; they weren’t injected fillers, they simply happened on their own. Following the surgery, my face immediately appeared less swollen.
After experiencing her initial Bell’s palsy episode at age 24, she tried using fillers to create symmetry on her face. Unfortunately, this effort led her into a persistent and detrimental cycle.
For two years, the problem remained under control, but then she began to notice a subtle, continuous swelling in the same cheek, which grew progressively larger.
She described: ‘I experienced tingling sensations similar to tiny ants scurrying across my face. I sought medical help from numerous doctors throughout the UK – “Something’s wrong with me, what’s wrong with my face” – it was truly terrifying. This persisted until this year when it became absolutely horrifying.’
Over the course of time, I frequently experienced a sensation as if my cheek were ablaze. There were ups and downs, with some days being more comfortable than others. On certain occasions, I would administer steroids to help alleviate the discomfort temporarily.

In the midst of that challenging N-Dubz phase, things were particularly tough for me; thus, in one interview, I may appear ordinary. However, in a subsequent interview, my appearance could seem quite unusual or puzzling.
Additionally, Tulisa expressed her view that those troublesome cysts were linked to numerous health issues she’s fought for many years, including conditions like sarcoidosis and autoimmune disorders.
She mentioned: “I’ve been dealing with numerous health issues for a long time – sarcoidosis and immune disorders, specifically. These conditions might be responsible for the symptoms I’ve experienced, and they possibly contributed to Bell’s palsy since I had around six instances of it. Over the years, these issues could have grown, potentially setting off Bell’s palsy.
After numerous trials, Tulisa opted to eliminate facial fillers, keeping them exclusively for her lips.
She added: ‘Right now, I only have filler in my lips. There’s no filler anywhere else in my face.’
Tulisa is known for being transparent about her use of lip fillers, even humorously referencing a past mishap she had with her well-known “trout pout.
2014 saw the rising star causing a stir by flaunting a noticeably fuller lip, sparking discussions among fans about her rapidly evolving facial features.
Upon contemplating the event, the celebrity shared on Lorraine: “I experienced different phases; I seemed to have an allergy to something, and it took some time for me to overcome it.

“I continue to have lip injections to keep things looking fresh. I’m content with the results at this point. Essentially, I’m just trying to keep up appearances.
In another part of the podcast, Tulisa shared her intention to undergo a fat transfer procedure in the future as a means to reduce facial bruising that currently causes her anxiety.
She mentioned: ‘I’ve observed that whenever I receive multiple steroid injections in this cheek, it swells due to the inflammation.’
With the reduction in swelling, I’m now left with deep hollows on my cheek. To hide them, I’ve been using makeup, but it makes me quite anxious. Frankly, I detest it; nobody enjoys having depressions on their cheeks, discoloration or any imperfections on their face.
However, I’ll gently remove some makeup to show you clearly. It appears quite similar to a bruise, with an obvious indentation.
As a die-hard enthusiast, one long-term strategy I’m eagerly looking forward to is undergoing a fat transfer procedure. However, since my schedule isn’t quite cleared yet, the immediate action I plan to take is a treatment called Profhilo.
A surgical fat transfer involves repositioning fat from one area of the body to another in the context of cosmetic procedures. Alternatively, it can be referred to as a “fat graft” or “liposculpture.
Before her fat transfer procedure, Tulisa shared that she is having Profhilo treatments to minimize potential bruising.
Applying Profhilo enhances the skin’s hue, smoothness, moisturization, and glow. It aids in boosting firmness and elasticity while encouraging a more vibrant and soft-appearing complexion.
