Tulisa’s I’m A Celeb campmates rally around her: Maura Higgins, Dean McCullough and Oti Mabuse send star supportive messages after she left Australia early amid mental health struggle
As a mental health advocate and someone who has walked a similar path, I can empathize with Tulisa’s situation. The glare of public life can be overwhelming, especially when you’ve been out of it for a while. It’s not easy to navigate the complexities of social media, particularly when your friends might not fully understand or appreciate the impact their posts could have on you.
Supporters of Tulisa, a contestant on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, are standing by her side following her decision to remove any evidence of her participation in the show from her Instagram account due to her ongoing mental health concerns.
On Monday, the singer from N-Dubz, who is 36 years old, became the third celebrity to leave the camp. Unlike other evicted celebrities, she departed Australia immediately following her elimination, instead of staying in Australia for the finale as has been the custom.
Later on, she used her Instagram to clarify the rumors surrounding her abrupt exit, stating that she was simply “swamped” by the entire situation.
On Sunday, Tulisa at last updated about her jungle adventure by posting numerous pictures of herself on the program, accompanied by a concise message in which she expressed regret to her fellow camp members for missing out on the finale.
Beneath her fellow campmates like Maura Higgins, Dean McCullough, and Oti Mabuse, there were warm remarks of encouragement left.
Dean wrote: ‘We deeply cherish you, dear one. You’re always with us in spirit, and we eagerly look forward to seeing you when we return home, with warm affection xxxx.’

Maura then commented: ‘Miss you wanna squeeze you love you.’
As an over-the-moon fan, I couldn’t help but beam a string of heart emojis when the one managing Danny Jones’ account put out: “The camp big sister we all yearn for.
Reflecting on some unforgettable times I’ve spent in the @Imacelebrity jungle, it’s been one heck of a rollercoaster ride!
I appreciate @itv for the memorable experience, and I’m sending lots of love to my Jungle Family ahead of tonight’s finale. Regrettably, I won’t be able to join in the celebration with everyone ❤️.
Instead of staying at the expensive £1,000-per-night JW Marriott on Australia’s Gold Coast, like her fellow eliminated contestants do until the finale, Tulisa surprised fans by choosing a different location to reside in.
As a devoted spectator, I’m typically among those who get eliminated earlier in the competition. However, this time around, my spirit is high, and I can’t wait to be there, rooting for the ultimate survivor – none other than Danny, the reigning King or Queen of the jungle.
Instead, as reported by The Sun, Tulisa swiftly returned to the United Kingdom, utilizing a private airport terminal to avoid being spotted by photographers.
Contrary to rumors suggesting a rift between her and her friends managing her social media, it’s been reported that she departed from Australia due to personal battles with her mental well-being.

According to the source, the outlet was informed that Tulisa found the idea of a falling-out with Michelle confusing and frustrating – their friendship remains strong. They’ve both returned to the UK together and are amused by the rumors surrounding them.
In reality, it was known that Tulisa was dealing with some challenges related to her mental well-being, as she had shared with her supporters.
After a meeting with ITV, everyone involved agreed that it was in her best interest to return home, where she could be surrounded by her dear friends and the familiar comforts of her own abode.
‘It’s nothing more than that, despite what people are saying.’
In a video earlier this week, Tulisa addressed her fans for the first time, saying:
Hey there Insta-fam! Dropping a quick vid here to set the record straight. So, as soon as I stepped out of that jungle, I was feeling A-OK initially. Later on that very same day, my buddies hit the hay for some well-deserved Zzz’s. Hope this clears things up! 🌳🏕️💤
Since it’s been some time since I last did this, I find myself getting quickly overloaded. I’ve come to realize that I simply need to step back and relax for a while.
You understand, it’s perfectly fine to experience a bit of being overloaded. Frankly, I’ve been away from the limelight for quite some time now. I’m still working through some challenges. In essence, I’m battling my own personal struggles.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m sharing an incident that recently transpired: Reports suggest that following my elimination from the popular TV show, there was a heated discussion at the hotel involving me, my close friend Michelle McKenna, and her partner, Daniel Johnson. However, it’s important to note that my representatives have clarified that this situation has been misconstrued or exaggerated in some reports.
It was mentioned that she wasn’t satisfied with how her closest friends managed her Instagram account during her time in the jungle, finding their posts concerning her as inappropriate.
According to a source, it was Tulisa who brought them to Australia. They seemed to be enjoying the circumstances and perhaps overstepping the bounds of her generosity towards them.
Michelle and Daniel attended the trip, which was sponsored by ITV, primarily due to Tulisa’s influence. They were present at the event thanks to her and she had faith in them to manage her social media accounts.

When she emerged from the jungle and beheld the scene before her, she felt dismayed, leading to a significant argument. It’s not hard to imagine that discovering her companions enjoying themselves so extravagantly while she endured the harshness of the jungle would have greatly aggravated her.
In a luxurious five-star hotel, their costs covered, it felt somewhat unfair to Tulisa, as they pointed out.
She’s really upset by what she saw online, and she immediately wanted to remove it from view.
The artist who sings “I Need You” has fiercely erased any evidence of her jungle experience and skipped all planned appearances on ITV.
On the day following her elimination, the lead singer from Ouch decided not to participate in I’m A Celebrity… Unpacked alongside Joel Dommett, Kemi Rodgers, and Sam Thompson, due to personal matters that required attention.
Tulisa later took to her Instagram stories denying she had argued with Michelle and Dan.
Nevertheless, it has been reported by The Mirror that she will make an appearance on I’m A Celebrity’s additional program titled Coming Out.
In the “Coming Out” series, film crews track the celebrities from the instant they leave camp. As a result, there’s probably ample recorded footage of her leaving, which the producers could potentially utilize, even before she chose to return home.
