Tulisa Contostavlos promised to stay exciting and unpredictable while sharing some revealing photos of herself in a short playsuit on Instagram on Wednesday.
The singer, 37, looked incredible as she flaunted her figure in the skin-tight beige ensemble.
Flashing a glimpse of her toned legs, Tulisa added inches to her frame with black thigh-high boots.
To complete her look, she further accessorised with a silver choker necklace and hoop earrings.
She shared some steamy photos with the caption: ‘It’s all about balance – some days I’m all about love and positivity, other days I embrace a bolder, more confident side.’ #keepmontheirtoes
Just weeks after sharing that she ‘slept on her bathroom floor for seven days,’ Tulisa explained this came after a period of severe depression triggered by the release of a sex tape involving her ex-partner.
In 2012, at the peak of her career, singer Tulisa Contostavlos had a sex tape released by her ex-boyfriend, Justin Edwards, whom she had split from in 2009.
Because revenge porn wasn’t against the law at the time, Tulisa only received a court apology from the person who shared the images. She recently shared how deeply this affected her mental health.
She called the leak of the sex tape ‘devastating,’ explaining it overshadowed what should have been a wonderful year. In 2011, she joined The X Factor and ultimately won the competition with her group, Little Mix, but the incident cast a shadow over that success.
She explained that the release of the tape caused her significant emotional distress, leading to a breakdown, and she continues to feel deeply vulnerable when it comes to intimacy.
In 2012, Tulisa resolved her lawsuit against Justin after he confessed to leaking the sex tape that was posted online and agreed to issue an apology.
On the Ready To Talk podcast with Emma Barnett, she described a particular year as the best of her life, explaining that everything happening at the time made it incredibly special.
The only downside was knowing about the tape beforehand. Even though it should have been a fantastic year, I was constantly worried about it being released and ruining everything.
I was on stage with Little Mix, pretending everything was great, but behind the scenes I was falling apart. I told one of the producers I was terrified that a compromising tape would surface and ruin my career.

Tulisa described the events leading up to the release of the sex tape, recalling a vivid and unsettling dream she had the night before. In the dream, her deceased uncle appeared and warned her that something terrible was about to occur.
I had a strong feeling, even from a dream, that something big was about to happen. Then, while I was driving, my assistant told me it was official, and I instantly felt a wave of shock – like my heart dropped into my stomach.
Following the release of the sex tape, Tulisa experienced a severe depression. She coped by retreating to her bathroom, recreating a childhood habit she developed while living with her mother, who struggled with schizophrenia.
At first, I was in denial for about a day, like it didn’t even seem real. Then everything crashed down, and I experienced one of the worst depressive episodes of my life.
Growing up, the bathroom was the one room with a lock, and I’d hide in there whenever my mum was unwell. When the video came out, I was so upset that I slept in my bathroom for a whole week, just with a pillow and blanket. It really affected me that much.
It’s hard to explain, but the experience felt deeply violating, like a form of virtual assault. I’ve always been sensitive about intimacy and already struggled with it, so this was incredibly shocking and upsetting. The impact has been significant and continues to affect me even now.
My love life was completely turned upside down. I’m not going to sugarcoat it – that’s exactly what it was like, and even now, looking back, it still feels that way.
In 2012, when Tulisa won her court case, sharing private sexual images without consent wasn’t illegal. As a result, she only received an apology from her ex-partner after the case concluded.
The actress explained she decided to sue Justin after he blamed her for releasing the tape, claiming she was the one who made it public, despite his denials.
Tulisa described the experience as incredibly difficult, saying the victory felt empty. She explained that she didn’t feel like she gained anything positive from it, only a small confirmation of what she already knew. She also added that the situation would continue to affect her reputation forever.
Last March, Stephen Bear received a 21-month jail sentence for sharing a sexually explicit video of his former girlfriend, Georgia Harrison, without her permission.
The law against revenge porn wasn’t created until 2014, so Justin couldn’t be charged under it for his actions.
Following her legal victory and Justin’s apology, Tulisa publicly expressed her relief that the truth about the private video had been revealed to the press.
In her statement, she added: ‘This time, Justin messed with the wrong woman’.
She added that she was relieved it was finally finished. The past few months had been incredibly difficult, and she never wanted to handle a case like this again.
Justin Edwards tried to harm me, profit from it, and destroy my career, but he failed on all counts.
Today, I’m a more confident and understanding person because of what I’ve gone through, and I’ve grown from the experience.
She expressed her disgust with Justin and her sadness that some people thought she was responsible for leaking the footage. She was relieved that the truth finally came out, stating that after months of deceiving the public and the court, Justin has admitted his guilt and she hopes he will be held accountable.
She also had a special message for fans who supported her in her battle with her ex.
I’m ready to move on from this now and put it behind me,” Tulisa stated. “I’m incredibly thankful to my fans for sticking with me, and I especially appreciate all the support I’ve received from the public, my friends, family, and team.
Thanks to the support I received and my own perseverance, I overcame this challenge. Justin quickly learned he shouldn’t have underestimated me.
