As a compassionate and empathetic observer, I can’t help but be moved by Tulisa’s journey. Her life has been a rollercoaster of health issues, from Bell’s palsy to cysts, sarcoidosis, and immune disorders. It’s a testament to her resilience that she continues to stand tall amidst the storm.

Tulisa Contostavlos has disclosed her intention to undergo a fat transfer procedure in the future, aiming to reduce facial bruising that currently causes her anxiety.

As a committed admirer, I’d like to share that on Saturday, the singer, now 36, chose to express on Instagram about the visible bruise on her right cheek. She attributed this mark to the long-term use of steroid injections she’s had over the years, which she uses to manage persistent cysts.

Over the past few months, Tulisa has undergone a total of 10 procedures to remove cysts from within her mouth due to persistent sensations such as her cheek being on fire and feeling like ants were crawling over her face.

Prior to discovering the underlying issue behind her twelve-year long health struggle, Tulisa had been receiving steroid injections as a means of alleviating her pain and distress – these treatments have left her with lasting bruises.

Tulisa, who was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy in 2020, shared: “Hi everyone, you may recall from an interview with Olivia Attwood on So Wrong It’s Right, I spoke about my face and the ongoing infection I wasn’t aware of as well as the episodes I’ve had with Bell’s Palsy.

Recently, numerous individuals have been messaging me privately, expressing curiosity about my personal experiences and current situation. This outpouring of interest has brought me great joy as it shows the impact of sharing openly. It also lets others understand that they aren’t isolated in their circumstances.

A few months ago, I underwent my initial surgery. This happened prior to the Olivia Attwood interview. During this procedure, they operated on my ear and made an incision near my jaw. They removed approximately five cysts that were located in the lower part of my face at that time.

Three weeks ago, I underwent my most recent and concluding surgery, during which they extracted the remaining five cysts.

The surgeon entered through her mouth, then sliced a path from this spot towards her lower cheek, but beneath the surface, ensuring that no scarring would be visible at all.

Just a week since I got my stitches removed, my face is still noticeably swollen due to the recent procedure.

In my experience, I’ve found that frequent steroid injections into my cheek have a peculiar effect – they cause it to swell substantially due to the inflammation.

With the swelling subsiding, I’m now left with deep depressions on my cheek that bother me greatly. I’ve concealed them with makeup, but it still gives me anxiety. I don’t like these indentations, discolorations, or any imperfections on my face – it’s not something people enjoy having.

However, I’ll gently remove some makeup so you can clearly notice it. Essentially, it appears as if there’s a bruise here, and that’s an impression or dip in the skin.

One long-lasting option I plan to consider later on is a procedure known as fat transfer. However, for the present moment, I’ll opt for a treatment named Profhilo instead.

A fat transfer procedure, often referred to as lipomodeling or fat grafting, involves repositioning fat from one area of the body to another through cosmetic surgery.

During this interim period, prior to having a fat transfer, Tulisa disclosed that she is receiving Profhilo treatments to reduce bruising.

Using Profhio, you’ll notice an enhancement in your skin’s tone, smoothness, moisture content, and overall glow. This treatment aids in boosting firmness and flexibility, leading to a more vibrant and soft appearance for your skin.

In 2020, the N-Dubz singer received a Bell’s palsy diagnosis and experienced escalating problems that caused her face to become red and swollen. To manage these symptoms, she frequently used steroids.

She mentioned that the issues were notably challenging when she reunited with the group in 2022, marking an end to their 11-year absence from the music world by launching a new tour and releasing a fresh single together.

Tulisa confessed that she often pondered, “What’s happening with my face?” before a significant ultrasound, and it was this scan that ultimately uncovered the underlying problem.

In Olivia Attwood’s podcast conversation, it was revealed that both Olivia and Tulisa are taking a break from N-Dubz. During this chat, Olivia explained the instance when she discovered that cysts in her cheek had been the unseen source of more than ten years of recurring stress.

Additionally, she holds the view that those bothersome cysts have played a role in her prolonged struggle with various health issues like sarcoidosis and immune system disorders that she has fought against for many years.

As a fervent admirer, I couldn’t help but share the news: My doctor unveiled some mysterious shadows on my ultrasound and suggested an exploratory operation to delve deeper into the mystery. Intrigued and desperate for answers, I eagerly agreed. Anything, anything at all, just let me know what you find. I can’t bear it any longer.

Initially, he entered and discovered three long-standing, infected cysts. Essentially, there were several cysts situated around his cheek, which kept growing due to infection. One of them even burst during the process, indicating its high level of contamination.

For quite some time now, I’ve been battling various health issues such as sarcoidosis and immune disorders. These conditions may have been responsible for the symptoms I experienced and possibly even caused Bell’s palsy, as there were approximately six instances of this condition over the years. It is plausible that these issues could have developed and potentially triggered Bell’s palsy in my case.
