Tulisa breaks her silence on ‘whirlwind’ I’m A Celebrity experience after deleting all her previous jungle posts and snubbing final to leave Australia early amid mental health struggle
As a seasoned observer and admirer of the British entertainment industry, I must say that the tumultuous journey of Tulisa Contostavlos in the jungle of “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” has been nothing short of intriguing. The former X Factor judge and singer, with her vibrant personality and resilient spirit, has always managed to captivate audiences, and this stint was no exception.
Tulisa has finally spoken up about her fast-paced experience on “I’m A Celebrity,” following the removal of all posts related to her stint on the ITV program from her Instagram account.
On Monday, the singer from N-Dubz, who is 36 years old, became the third celebrity to leave the camp. Unlike previous evicted stars, she departed Australia immediately following her elimination, disregarding the traditional custom that requires them to stay in Australia until the final.
Later on, I decided to speak up on my Instagram to clarify the rumors surrounding my unexpected exit. I admitted that I had been feeling overwhelmed by the entire situation.
On Sunday, Tulisa at last shared her jungle adventure, publishing numerous pictures from the program along with a concise message expressing apologies to her fellow camp members for missing the finale.
Reflecting on some cherished memories from the @Imacelebrity jungle experience. What a rollercoaster ride!
I appreciate @itv for the wonderful experience, and I’m sending a lot of love to my Jungle Family ahead of tonight’s finale. I wish I could join you all in the celebration. ❤️
Her fellow departed campers promptly expressed their backing, as Maura Higgins put it: “I miss you, I want to squeeze you and I love you ❤️❤️
Dean McCullough expressed his affection with the phrase ‘we love you ❤️’, stating that his loved one is present in spirit and eagerly anticipates their reunion when they return home, signing off with a warm kiss (xxxx). Meanwhile, Oti Mabuse reciprocated with a series of heart emojis. In an unexpected move, Tulisa opted not to reside at the £1,000-per-night JW Marriott on Australia’s Gold Coast, where her fellow eliminated contestants are staying until the final show on Sunday.
People who get eliminated early are typically asked to attend the finale, where they can support the ultimate winner (the King or Queen) of the jungle competition.
However, The Sun reports that Tulisa immediately returned to the United Kingdom via a private terminal to avoid being photographed by the paparazzi.
Contrary to speculation about a rift with friends managing her social media accounts, it is now reported that she departed from Australia due to personal battles with her mental wellbeing.
According to a source, the outlet was informed that Tulisa was both puzzled and annoyed by the rumor of a rift between her and Michelle. On the contrary, they remain extremely close, as evidenced by their recent joint return to the UK. They’ve been sharing laughs over the speculation surrounding their relationship.
In truth, it was revealed that Tulisa was battling with her mental well-being, a fact she had shared with her followers.
After the ITV meeting, everyone involved concluded that returning home, surrounded by her dear friends and familiar comforts, would be the most beneficial decision for her.
‘It’s nothing more than that, despite what people are saying.’
In a video earlier this week, Tulisa addressed her fans for the first time, saying:
In an Instagram post, she explained, “I’m recording a brief video to clarify a few points. To start off, after leaving the jungle, I initially felt okay, and later in the evening, my friends retired for the night.
As someone who values a balanced lifestyle, I must admit that due to the lapse in my routine, I’ve found myself feeling rather swamped lately. I realized it was time for some self-care, so I decided to step back, breathe, and simply unwind.
‘You know, it’s OK to feel a little bit overwhelmed. I’ve been out of the spotlight for a long time. I’m still trying to overcome those things. I’ve still got my little demons.’
Rumors emerged that Tulisa had an argument at the hotel following her elimination from the show, accompanied by her close friend Michelle McKenna and her partner, Daniel Johnson. However, Tulisa’s representatives have refuted these claims.
She expressed dissatisfaction with how her best friends managed her Instagram account during her time in the jungle, finding their posts about her to be inappropriate.
According to a source, it was Tulisa who brought them to Australia. It seemed as though they were enjoying the circumstances and perhaps overstepping the bounds of her kindness.
Michelle and Daniel found themselves present, all thanks to Tulisa’s support, during a journey sponsored by ITV. Their presence was entirely due to her, and she had faith in them, granting them access to her social media platforms.
Upon emerging from the dense wilderness and laying my eyes upon the revelry that ensued, I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of dismay, triggering an intense argument. It’s not hard to imagine that witnessing her companions enjoying themselves so lavishly while I endured the jungle’s harshness might have been the straw that broke the camel’s back for her.
They were staying at a luxurious hotel, with their costs mostly covered, which seemed somewhat unfair to Tulisa, they noted.
She’s extremely disappointed, finding the post very distressing. She hurried to remove it immediately.
The artist who sang “I Need You” fiercely erased every sign of her Jungle experience and has skipped all planned public events with ITV.
Although sources claim that Tulisa has no issues with the network, neither she nor her associates have been spotted since her appearance on Lorraine’s show on Tuesday morning.
The artist from the band Ouch decided not to participate in I’m A Celebrity… Unpacked with Joel Dommett, Kemi Rogers, and Sam Thompson the day following her elimination, due to personal matters requiring attention.
Tulisa later took to her Instagram stories denying she had argued with Michelle and Dan.
Nonetheless, she is set to feature on the spin-off program, Coming Out, as reported by The Mirror.
During the “Coming Out” series, cameras follow the celebrities as soon as they exit camp, which means the show’s producers probably have sufficient footage of her departure prior to her choosing to return home, allowing them to utilize this footage.
