Tsunoa Games, the creators of Katana Dragon, announced their new game, Sengodai, a tactical roguelike deckbuilder. It will be released on Android and PC on December 12, 2025, and pre-registration is available now. There’s currently no word on when it will be available on iOS.
Get ready to build your own Gokai monsters squad and take on the Cursed Gods
Tsunoa Games, known for their indie games, is releasing Sengodai, a new roguelike deckbuilder. I was immediately drawn to its striking Japanese art style, reminiscent of Katana Dragon. However, Sengodai offers a unique twist: instead of battling monsters, you actually create and customize your own team of ‘Gokai’ creatures.
Sengodai is now available to add to your wishlist! 🎉
It’s a challenging roguelike deckbuilder where you collect and upgrade monster cards. Battle powerful gods in exciting duels and explore ever-changing, procedurally generated worlds.
🎮 Find it on Steam! ✨

I think this game has a lot of promise because each playthrough feels fresh and offers different choices. You can collect over 20 Gokai cards, fight interesting enemies, and use powerful spells to defeat the Cursed Gods. Plus, you can improve those cards to create even stronger combinations with the Elemental Gods.
I’m really excited to try the campaign mode and see everything the five different worlds have to offer, especially the strategic land conquest battles. I also think the designs and abilities of the five Elemental Gods are really neat. Overall, this game looks very promising, with over 40 Spell Cards, unpredictable world paths, and lots more to discover.
Sengodai will be available on Android and PC starting December 12, 2025. You can sign up to be notified when the game launches by pre-registering through the Google Play Store. We’ll share details about the iOS version soon.
