TSM joins HCS partnership program and reveals Halo Infinite roster
Renowned esports group Team SoloMid (TSM) has recently joined forces as a Halo Championship Series (HCS) partner, and they’ve unveiled the team that will be participating in Halo Infinite.
31st January, 2025 proved to be a bustling day for Halo Studios. They unveiled Operation Frontlines and presented the 2025 HCS plan, offering a sneak peek at the maps and game modes in play, along with newly collaborated teams. One of these teams, TSM, swiftly disclosed their lineup for Halo Infinite.
It’s well-known that TSM is a legendary esports organization. Having them join the HCS partnership program will undoubtedly draw more attention to the game. With their strong team, they aim to create a significant impact right from the start in the Halo Championship Series.
Introducing TSM’s Halo roster to compete in the 2025 HCS
As a passionate fan, I can’t contain my excitement! Just recently, Halo Studios shared during their developer stream that they’ve been in discussions with Team SoloMid (TSM) for years. And finally, these conversations have borne fruit, as TSM is now officially part of the HCS Partnership Program. It’s official: TSM is making a splash in the world of Halo!
Here is the roster they announced:
- Youssef “Cherished” Shaaban
- Roman “Druk” Nasirudin
- Michael “SoulSnipe” Girgis
- Hunter “Taulek” Davis
- Trey (Coach)
All players, apart from SoulSnipe, were previously part of Pure. SoulSnipe, on the other hand, competed for Shopify Rebellion, a fresh team that has recently partnered with HCS. The Pure team achieved the 4th position at the Halo World Championship 2024, while SoulSnip managed to secure 3rd place in several 2024 Majors alongside SR.
In a new role as coach, Trey brings his extensive background from Oxygen, Native, Gamers First, and Proton to the table. He was also part of the 4th place Pure team at Champs. With TSM’s recent involvement in Halo, some had concerns about the remaining talent, as many teams seem to be completing their rosters.
As a gamer, I must admit, my initial assumptions were off base. TSM has assembled a formidable team that holds its own against the top-tier and more seasoned squads in the HCS. Here’s to hoping we get to witness their prowess when the 2025 HCS season officially starts later this year.
