Truth about ‘worst man’ on the internet: Jack Doherty eats other people’s food, had an OnlyFans ‘wedding’ with this astonishing clause and sets his bodyguard on strangers… but this is why he’s facing a dark future

Even Jack Doherty’s supportive parents, who often praise him, have had to admit his behavior has been disrespectful.

It’s easy to find much harsher descriptions of him online, including words like ‘obnoxious,’ ‘unbearable,’ and ‘disgusting.’

It’s hard to imagine that Jake Doherty, who’s gained a massive online following – over 15 million YouTube subscribers – by posting videos of his shocking and wild behavior, even pays attention to criticism. He’s likely too preoccupied with enjoying his financial success.

Now 22 years old, he says he owns over 35 properties and has earned $40 million (about £30 million) through his iPhone.

Even though some people think he might be overstating how much money he has, even careful calculations show he’s earned millions.

No matter how wealthy he is, Doherty is now facing a problem that can’t be solved with money.

After being arrested last month on drug charges and other offenses, he could face a significant prison sentence. He hasn’t yet spoken publicly about the accusations.

This recent event, though part of a long and troubled history, is the most concerning development so far.

Born in Long Island, New York, in October 2003, Doherty has an older brother and sister. His father, Mark, is Irish-American, and his mother, Anna, was born in Poland.

Before even starting at North Shore High School, he’d already created his own YouTube channel. Just before turning thirteen, he posted his first video – a simple trick of flipping a highlighter pen so it would stand up straight.

From such inauspicious beginnings came a hugely successful career.

In January 2017, Doherty posted a two-and-a-half-minute video called ‘I Flipped All Of These!!’ where he demonstrated the trick using common items like pencils, batteries, and water bottles.

The video quickly became popular online, turning Doherty into an instant YouTube star. Within a year, he gained over a million subscribers and began making more daring videos to attract an even larger audience.

It’s clear his plan was successful. His videos have garnered nearly 6.4 billion views on YouTube – that’s close to one view for every person in the world!

He often films by intentionally bumping into people on the street, then provoking them while letting a large bodyguard shield him from any reaction.

Doherty posted a video showing him walking up to a table of people at a fast-food restaurant and unexpectedly beginning to eat their food, all without saying anything.

He and his friends have also been filmed taking over the Walmart intercom and singing loudly, causing employees to intervene.

Doherty once gained notoriety – and the incident was later discussed on the Dr. Phil show – when he posted a video of an argument with a neighbor who had complained about the sound of his dirt bike.

Doherty promised his followers he’d bike past the woman’s house again if a video got 50,000 likes. When it did, he openly said he didn’t care what she thought, explaining that his fans enjoyed it and he planned to continue the behavior.

Last year, Doherty totaled his $200,000 McLaren sports car while livestreaming. He seemed to be looking at his phone while driving in rainy conditions when the crash happened.

A video shared online showed the driver looking at his phone just before shouting ‘No, no, no!’ and crashing into a barrier.

During the video, he briefly expressed sadness about his damaged car, but immediately after, he made sure his injured cameraman was still recording everything.

Someone on X pointed out that even though another person’s friend was badly injured and bleeding, they still prioritized getting footage from every possible angle. The commenter sarcastically called it ‘nice’.

There have also been incidents involving other members of the wider YouTube community.

I was really shocked when video surfaced late last year showing Trisha Doherty getting into a heated argument at a Halloween party. It apparently happened at David Dobrik’s house in Los Angeles, and it was pretty intense to watch.

I was shocked to learn that after the incident in the video, there were legal issues! Apparently, someone from Doherty’s security team actually punched another guest, and now there’s an assault and battery case happening because of it. It’s really upsetting to see things escalate like that.

Even Pete Doherty’s personal life has been documented by his own cameras. During a symbolic wedding ceremony with his then-girlfriend, OnlyFans model McKinley Richardson, in November 2024, he filmed himself reading a pre-nuptial agreement stating that she wouldn’t receive any assets if they divorced, even in the event of infidelity.

He claims that if she’s unfaithful, she’ll immediately be required to pay him $10 million. He also states he will receive all of her income from her online content creation, even if they get divorced.

I heard Doherty say that if things ever ended with Richardson, he’d expect her to continue taking care of all the household chores – cooking, cleaning, and even doing his laundry! It sounds a bit much, honestly, but that’s what he said.

The couple broke up after the incident, and Richardson later shared in a podcast that the prank had left her feeling deeply humiliated and completely surprised.

The 22-year-old initially thought Doherty was great, but she said he changed, and ‘wasn’t the same man’ she’d originally been attracted to.

As 2026 approaches, Kieran Doherty might face bigger challenges than just criticism from ex-partners and opponents.

He was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida, last November and is now facing drug charges. Police found what they believe was half of a Schedule II amphetamine pill – a small, orange oval with the number 3 on it – along with three cigarettes suspected of containing cannabis.

According to some reports, he could face up to seven years in jail.

Doherty, who lives in Plantation, Florida, near Fort Lauderdale, believes his critics are simply jealous of his success.

He recently explained in an interview that people are bothered by his youth and success. He understands why – he’d feel the same way if someone his age or younger was achieving more. It motivates him to constantly improve and surpass others.

Many people criticize me because they don’t understand my experiences. But when I see someone succeeding, it actually inspires me to work harder and achieve even more – it’s a great motivator.

It’s a bold and unrepentant stance, and it could help explain why Jack Doherty has become known – as comedian and internet commentator Cam Kirkham puts it – as ‘possibly the worst man on the internet‘.
