A significant amount of discussion revolves around ‘soft swinging’, a type of spouse-sharing practice among young Mormons. In this arrangement, they choose their sexual partners from within a circle of married acquaintances, under specific guidelines.

Mormon Wives has been great business for Disney Channel, which broadcasts the show in Britain.

However, the scandalous saga of lavish estates, glamorous events, and trivial squabbles has been overshadowed in recent times by a more intriguing topic for conversation – as it becomes clear to viewers that Demi Engemann crossed paths with her husband, the dashing American football player, when he was 26 and married, while she was just ten years old.

The response from the public has been quite harsh, as viewers have criticized the pair’s relationship due to their significant age difference of sixteen years, and their union in general.

One post about X portrayed the history of the duo as ‘extremely unsettling’. Another expressed: ‘Was it essential to share this data? Now I feel queasy.’

One Redditor shared that ‘My spouse and I share a considerable age difference, and we concur that if he had met me during my childhood years, it would have felt uncomfortable and highly inappropriate.’

It seems uncomfortable or inappropriate to another user that you encountered your spouse when they were a child, even though you were already an adult at the time.

Bret’s older brother Paul was a singer who worked with celebrated record producer Giorgio Moroder.

Among his many accolades, Paul was also responsible for composing the main theme for the successful gangster film ‘Scarface,’ featuring Al Pacino, and the anthem played during the 1984 Olympics held in Los Angeles.

Another sibling, a sister called Shawn, was married to chat-show host Larry King.

In retrospect, the woman who later starred in “Mormon Wives,” Demi Lucy May, acknowledged that her future in-laws were quite popular and well-known during her childhood years. Consequently, it was not unexpected that she quickly became acquainted with the handsome football icon.
