TrumpSC and Day9 face off in Hearthstone x StarCraft showmatch: It’s StarCast time!

On January 21st, the Heroes of the StarCraft Mini-Set will make their debut in Hearthstone. In the days leading up to this launch, exciting card reveals are set to be unveiled, and following the release, Jeffrey “TrumpSC” Shih and Sean “Day9” Plott will engage in a thrilling showmatch between Hearthstone and StarCraft! TrumpSC and Day9 enter StarCraft x Hearthstone showmatch
Mayor TrumpSC from Value Town is set to compete against Day9 in the renowned StarCast showmatch, commencing on January 23rd at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. This exciting event will debut new cards from the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set! The entire esports spectacle unfolds live on the official Hearthstone Twitch channel, with Tasteless and Dan “Artosis” Stemkoski as the commentators for the occasion.
Hearthstone players get free Twitch drops and card packs
As spectators enjoy the intense matchup between TrumpSC and Day9, they stand to gain two Hearthstone card packs through Twitch rewards. One of these will be a standard pack from the current expansion – The Great Dark Beyond. In addition, they’ll receive a golden version of the same expansion’s card pack.
To claim these Twitch drops, viewers need to connect their Twitch and Battle.net accounts first. This process is straightforward. Just navigate to the “Connections” page on Battle.net, then click the “Connect” button beside “Twitch”. After that, follow the instructions to link the accounts successfully.
On January 23rd at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, the StarCast showmatch commences. Make your way to the official Twitch channel for Hearthstone to catch TrumpSC and Day9 in action playing their games.
HearthCraft event features mini-games galore
The following day after StarCast, another event is scheduled to take place, offering the same Twitch drops. This event, HearthCraft, will involve three teams competing in Hearthstone games and mini-games. As announced by Blizzard, these players will collaborate with host Simon “Sottle” Welch in casting the matches, acting as guest commentators.
Starting January 24th at 9 a.m. Pacific Time, HearthCraft is set to commence on Hearthstone’s Twitch channel in English and the SolaryHS channel in French. The SolaryHS channel will have Alexandre “Odemian” Leadley as its host.
