Abbie Chatfield made a splash at the ARIA Awards on Wednesday, but a noticeable, awkward exchange with her boyfriend, Adam Hyde, really caught people’s attention.
The 30-year-old media personality joined her boyfriend, singer Keli Holiday (also known as Adam Hyde), at Australia’s biggest music awards night. Holiday’s song, “2Dancing,” is up for Best Video at this year’s ceremony.
Abbie appeared to overshadow her partner during his special occasion, following a moment that looked strained and was captured on video.
While waiting for their photos, the 30-year-old woman seemed to scold her boyfriend, pausing and pointing at him as they walked towards the backdrop.
Even though the situation was a bit strange, Adam didn’t seem bothered at all, and even gave a thumbs-up when the cameras turned towards them.
Abbie then led the way to the photo area, where they posed for a series of pictures.

She quickly changed her attitude and seemed completely smitten with her boyfriend, gazing at him affectionately even with the cameras flashing, as if their previous issues were forgotten.
Let me tell you, the energy definitely shifted when these two got close! They shared a really sweet, passionate kiss – a total PDA moment that everyone noticed. It was clear they couldn’t resist each other!
Abbie turned heads in a striking off-the-shoulder dress. The plaid dress featured a fitted, corset-style bodice, a ruched skirt, and a daringly high slit.
She threw her curly locks into an up-do while carrying a futuristic silver purse.
Adam, 35, looked sharp in a grey blazer worn open over a black shirt, revealing his chest tattoos.
Abbie and Adam recently shared with Stellar magazine that their intimate moments inspired a new, explicit song.
In a recent interview, the couple revealed that Adam’s new single, “More,” released under his artist name Keli Holiday, features audio of them being intimate.
Adam described the song as very sexually suggestive, mentioning it includes imagery of ‘sweat and bedsheets’ and is generally quite explicit, according to a recent magazine interview.

As a big fan, I’ve been listening to Adam talk about this new track, and he described a part of it – specifically the build-up and release in the music – as feeling like an orgasm. He said it’s all about this swelling sensation, and it actually reminded him of a really intimate moment with his partner. He apparently told her he wanted to record the experience, and she was totally on board with it. It’s a surprisingly honest way to describe the feeling he was going for with the music, and it really gives you a sense of the intensity he was aiming for.
The singer from Peking Duk explained that the microphone was totally covered by the bedsheets, making the initial recording unusable. Luckily, they had a separate voice recording they could use instead.
Adam described his decision to use their sexual activity in his song as an act of ‘romance’.
