Trisha Paytas reveals the VERY unusual name she almost gave her baby son – before settling on Aquaman
Trisha Paytas has revealed she almost named her newborn baby Water Snake instead of Aquaman Moses.
On July 12, the well-known figure from social media, aged 37, delivered her third child, a son, in a challenging birth experience, along with her husband Moses Hacmon.
During her podcast Just Trish, the previous Celebrity Big Brother contestant shared that she nearly chose another name for her child, inspired by a poem.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement when I share this: Our near-choice for the baby’s name wasn’t just another movie poster, oh no! What we had in mind was none other than the profound and captivating title of Moses’ poem – Water Snake. It resonated with us so deeply, it feels like a personal revelation.
‘I love Water Snake. It’s the Year of the Snake, Moses is a snake. We love water.

‘The film “Waterworld” really captured my heart. To be honest, I found the title itself appealing. By the close of the day, it turns out that I’ve embraced Moses’ perspective – water holds a special place in my affections.’
Moses originally shared his poem on YouTube in 2017.
At the same time, alongside Aquaman and Water Snake, Trisha also brainstormed several other large suggestions for the baby’s name.
She also adored Moses Jr. and felt the same way about it. Additionally, she was fond of Aladdin as well. Although Aladdin wasn’t water-themed, she had always liked him. However, Moses disapproved of that. He objected to both Paper Man and Aladdin, quite swiftly, so they ended up changing their choice.
For quite some time now, I’ve adorned myself with Aquaman T-shirts, a tradition that started back in 2017 following the release of the first Justice League movie. Over the years, I’ve attended numerous Comic Cons centered around Aquaman. My affection for him grew even stronger when we revisited the Aquaman film.
‘Aquaman, much like a mixed-heritage child we might know, bridges two worlds: land and sea. This is reminiscent of Moses guiding the Israelites at Benihana. Interestingly, he communicates mentally with aquatic creatures. And unlike what you’d expect, our Aquaman sports blonde hair, quite contrary to the common notion that he has both blonde and brunette tresses.’
Trisha excitedly shared pictures of her newborn and said, ‘Oh Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon! (heart with blue color emoji) Born on the 25th of July at 12:40 am.’
Trisha and her husband also have daughters Malibu Barbie, two, and Elvis, one.

As a devoted follower, I’d like to share that Trisha delved into the challenging experiences preceding her delivery on her podcast, expressing her concerns about her own wellbeing.
Trisha shared that this labor experience was the most chaotic and distressing one she’s ever had in her life. She said it felt like her water was breaking for a continuous three hours, leaving her incredibly frightened.
On the 11th of July, a day that held great significance for me, I eagerly awaited the date, fondly known as 7/11… However, it wasn’t until the following day, at around one in the morning on the 12th, that my life took an unexpected turn. As I looked upon the little bundle of joy, I found myself uttering a breathless exclamation, ‘Oh my God.’
‘My water suddenly broke… it sprayed everywhere and I was terrified because I was experiencing the strongest contractions I’ve ever felt. I’m 37 years old, so giving birth at this age is a completely different experience compared to when I was 34. Honestly, I thought I might not survive.’ She admitted, ‘I wasn’t sure if I could endure it.’
On that day when Trisha gave birth, the baby arrived earlier than planned, adding to the various challenges she had to overcome.
Tonight, oddly enough, every patient required an emergency Caesarean section. With only three patients, two operating rooms, and a single doctor on duty, it became quite hectic. Incidentally, she mentioned that her doctor was away on a trip.
Eventually, their child was born.
‘They delivered it quickly. They delivered our baby in 10 minutes,’ she explained.
Fans expressed relief – and concern – after Trisha posted the update about the difficult birth.
One fan expressed their feelings by reading the caption which mentioned a difficult birth for her, and it made them feel sad. However, they’re thankful that both she and the baby are present, and they hope for a complete recovery of the mother.
1. ‘It seems incredibly distressing. I’m relieved things ended up okay. Kudos to you for having such a wonderful family, Trisha! Wishing you all the healing after childbirth.’ (Informal)
2. ‘What you went through sounds terribly traumatic. It’s fantastic that everything turned out well in the end. Congratulations on your lovely family, Trisha! Sending you my best wishes for a speedy recovery post-childbirth.’ (Formal)

‘I’m so relieved you’re okay! I was worried about my mother! So happy for you,’ another posted.
I’m absolutely thrilled to see you back! I had started feeling anxious and concerned, fearing something might have happened. But now, I’m incredibly relieved to realize that I was overreacting. You and the baby are both healthy, thank goodness. Everything seems to be going smoothly, and I can hardly wait to learn the name!
In March, Trisha shared the exciting news of her third baby on the way by posting a family picture with the caption “MAMMA MIA! IT’S TIME FOR ROUND THREE! ARRIVING JULY 2025.
Several fans, meanwhile, were not a fan of the name Trisha had given her son.
Trisha, what you’re saying is hard to believe. Malibu was adorable, and dealing with Elvis was manageable, but Aquaman is beyond control, according to your statement.
‘Why would you name your kid that!’ another commented.

‘Poor kid what a terrible name,’ another posted.
Pondering, someone said, ‘Really? You gave your child the name Aquaman? That wouldn’t be an easy name for a kid to grow up with in elementary school.’
As a dedicated follower, I’ve been pondering over this, and my personal assumption is that she might be using pseudonyms in public contexts.
In a 2023 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Trisha explained the reasoning behind her unique choice of names for her children.
I treat her as if she were a young girl, so it gives me the chance to style her! To be honest, I was thrilled about having a son or a daughter, but now that she’s a girl, I find myself dressing her like a miniature version of myself. She’s such a joy… she reminds me a lot of Malibu Barbie.

In my dedication, I’d choose Elvis as a name for my little one, irrespective of its gender, as this name holds a special place in our hearts.
She shared with ET that life has undergone significant improvements, and she feels positively about this change. There’s still room for fun, like cosplaying and doing wild things, but it’s even more enjoyable now because I have a little companion, and the experience is just so enjoyable.
Having a child changes everything. It makes other things seem insignificant. In fact, it feels like there’s nothing more important than my child. The world fades away and I’m completely focused on them. It’s an amazing feeling!
Trisha began her YouTube career in 2007, and has amassed over five million subscribers.
After that, she launched an OnlyFans, started the Just Trish Podcast, created a family channel on YouTube with Moses and Barbie, and established an ASMR channel as well – all on top of her existing one.
Trisha is not just a single-talent individual; she’s a versatile artist who sings, acts, and writes books. She has put out eight extended plays (EPs), one full studio album, 33 solo tracks, made cameo appearances in eight films, graced our screens on television 35 times, and published eleven books.
