Trisha Goddard’s Shocking Cancer Truths Revealed on Big Brother!
Television personality Trisha Goddard, known for her time on Celebrity Big Brother, has shared insights into the personal impacts she’s experienced due to her intense chemotherapy treatments as she bravely faces her ongoing fight against an incurable form of cancer.
67-year-old television personality, most recognized for her talk show “Trisha,” recently announced that she is facing a recurrence of her secondary breast cancer, a battle she initially fought in 2008, around the beginning of last year.
During Thursday’s show, the host openly discussed some of the side effects she has been experiencing, including constipation, muscle pain, and a sensation of dryness in her vaginal area.
In response to Donna Preston’s inquiry about her harsh cancer treatment, Trisha clarified, “I’ve been experiencing severe constipation, muscle pain, changes in my taste, and vision issues. But without going through this treatment, I wouldn’t be alive today.
Afterward, Ella Rae Wise, aged 24, entered the garden, and Trisha confessed that she now needs to apply moisturizer not only on other parts of her body but also in her private areas as well.
I went on to explain: ‘Regarding breast cancer, it primarily affects your breasts. Additionally, certain treatments can lead to dryness in the lower part of your body, which is more commonly referred to as the vagina.’

Here’s another important point, Dear One. During your cancer treatment, it’s crucial to apply moisturizer all over your body.
Initially confused by what Trisha meant, Donna asked: ‘So you put that up your bum?’
To which she clarified,’ No, your…’ and used her hands to signal between her legs.
Ella offered assistance and asked, “Are those your women?”, to which Trisha agreed, prompting Donna to chuckle, admitting that she referred to them by a different name.
‘I love how you two call it your ladies where I am like ”your fanny”. Goes on your fanny.’
Ella initially gasped, which caused Trisha to clarify, ‘Yeah, but not at your age.’
Ella cheekily responded: ‘Babe, I moisturise everywhere, so don’t worry about that.’
Ever since I stepped foot into the Big Brother house this week, I’ve seized the chance to espouse my philosophy of ‘living, not just existing.’ This is a journey I’ve declined opportunities for before, but now I find myself embracing it wholeheartedly as part of this unique experience.

20 months back, she was given a life-ending prognosis and is currently undergoing comfort care at home.
In simpler terms, Trisha’s breast cancer has metastasized, or spread beyond the breast tissue. While treatments are available, at this point, there is no known cure for her condition.
Last February, it was disclosed that her cancer had come back following a previous clean bill of health.
During her stay at the house, the broadcaster also has a supply of medications with her, as she continues to undergo cancer treatment.
Before her major event, Trisha shared with The Mirror that immediately following the show, she will be boarding a flight to receive an injection.
She shared that her oncologist is her most enthusiastic supporter and is collaborating with the team from Big Brother. She also has a unique therapist who’s eager to assist the medical staff on the television program.

As a lifestyle expert, let me clarify that my collaborative healthcare partners, often mistakenly referred to as “palliative care,” are in fact specialists focused on managing symptoms and improving quality of life. They are an integral part of the care team here, ensuring I maintain comfort and wellbeing throughout this journey.
Later, regarding my treatment, I received an infusion on Monday, which means I need to catch a flight immediately after the performance ends to get back for the next one.
I always carry a bag with medications, and these will remain available at home. My oncologist has structured my treatment plan based on this medication availability and my production schedule.
Twenty months back, the previous talk show host was given the devastating news of a terminal illness, a diagnosis that sadly arrived only a month prior to her wedding with her husband, Allen.
In August 2022, the couple exchanged their vows during an intimate wedding reception held at a local restaurant in Connecticut.
As a devoted admirer, let me share with you how I expressed my feelings when Trisha mentioned her reasons for being part of the show. She said, “Every year, they’ve asked me to join in, and I’ve always wondered, ‘You’re serious?’
Participating in Big Brother provides an opportunity to demonstrate that one can thrive with cancer, rather than allowing the fear of death to overshadow the joy of life. That’s why I’ve chosen to take part.
Brave Trisha also admitted she doesn’t want her housemates too ‘pity’ her about her diagnosis.
As a devoted follower, I, a mother of Billie and Madison, shared back in 2010 that our journey with cancer hasn’t ended; it remains persistent. Carrying this secret has become increasingly heavy on my shoulders.
