Triple H's comments on Brock Lesnar should raise eyebrows

As a long-time WWE fan and someone who has followed the ins and outs of professional wrestling for decades, I have seen my fair share of scandals and controversies. However, the ongoing situation with Brock Lesnar leaves me feeling uneasy and concerned.

Brock Lesnar was a significant attraction for WWE, drawing viewers whenever he appeared in storylines. However, this year brought an end to that status when Lesnar became entangled in the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and the WWE, though his name wasn’t explicitly mentioned. Triple H has recently spoken about Lesnar, suggesting a potential return. Yet, it would be wise for WWE to keep their distance from Lesnar until the entire legal situation has been resolved.

I was thrilled when I heard that Triple H and Nick Khan made their way to the United Kingdom for important talks with the esteemed Mayor of London. The topic? None other than bringing WrestleMania to this historic city! As a dedicated fan, my mind raced with excitement at the possibility. However, during an interview on this trip, I couldn’t help but wonder about the current situation with Brock Lesnar. So, I asked Triple H point-blank about it. Stay tuned for his response!

Triple H told The Daily Mail that only Brock Lesnar can answer questions about his future plans since “Brock marches to the beat of his own drum.” He’s likely in Canada, spending time with his family and enjoying life. Whenever Brock feels like returning, we’ll be ready to discuss possibilities.

It’s quite a shift from WWE’s previous position regarding Lesnar this year. Although he wasn’t explicitly addressed, his plans for Royal Rumble and WrestleMania were abruptly dropped. Moreover, he was excluded from the WWE 2K video game. Since then, neither him nor his character have appeared on television or been mentioned.

From my gamer perspective, I get it, given the serious allegations against Lesnar in Grant’s lawsuit. It wouldn’t make sense for the organization to have him on TV during ongoing legal proceedings. The backlash and queries would be immense if they brought him back while these accusations were still hanging. Legal matters like these can last for years, and who knows what new information might surface? It’s best not to even suggest Lesnar’s return until everything is resolved, or we risk complicating things further.

Outside of legal issues, WWE can thrive without Lesnar. Vince McMahon relied heavily on him to generate ratings and excitement, but Triple H has proven effective in revitalizing the company without relying on past stars. Reintroducing Lesnar could distract from the growing potential of other roster members who require more attention and development.

As a long-time fan of professional wrestling and following the WWE scene closely, I can’t help but raise some concerns over Triple H’s recent vague comments regarding Brock Lesnar’s current status with the company. To me, it seems wise for the organization to steer clear of any involvement with Lesnar until all legal proceedings have come to a close. This is not only a professional but also a common-sense approach.
