Duncan McKenzie-McHarg, a well-known Australian sports broadcaster, passed away on Wednesday in Los Angeles at the age of 41.
A popular television host died after falling from a building in Downtown Los Angeles, according to recent reports.
It is understood that his body was found on a lower roof.
The Stan Sports presenter had a successful career reporting on sports in both Australia and the United States. They moved to America several years ago for work opportunities.
He started his career in media in January 2010, working as a reporter for Triple M’s Hot Breakfast show with Eddie McGuire. He stayed with the station for nearly three years.
Duncan began his broadcasting career presenting for Channel Seven and Channel Ten. In 2017, he became Fox Sports Australia’s correspondent in the US, a role he held until May 2022.

He landed his ideal job in August 2022 as a sports presenter for Stan in Los Angeles, and continued in that position until his untimely death.
He collaborated with several famous people, including tennis star Todd Woodbridge from Australia and American athlete Madison Keys.
Throughout his career, he had the opportunity to interview numerous iconic athletes, such as Shaquille O’Neal, Tom Brady, Tiger Woods, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic.
People in both Australia and the United States who follow sports are deeply saddened by his unexpected death.
He was famous for being a lively and captivating speaker, and he quickly connected with many of the world’s top athletes.
Fans have taken to social media to pay tribute to Duncan.
‘RIP Duncan. We all love you so much,’ one heartbroken fan wrote.
‘Why, just why?’ a second asked.


Duncan has said he decided he wanted to be a sports presenter after seeing his hero, Eddie McGuire, on television.
In a 2023 interview with Radio Today, he shared his appreciation for how TV sports reporters seemed to enjoy presenting their reports, almost as if they were performing.
‘Eddie was so quick and versatile,’ he continued.
‘Funny, but could also deliver serious news.’
Duncan is survived by his family, who are understood to be devastated by the sudden loss.
