I find myself deeply moved by the extraordinary life and career of this remarkable woman – our beloved actress, whose talent and resilience have left an indelible mark not only on the stage but also on our screens. From her humble beginnings as a child performer to her Tony-winning performances on Broadway, she has graced us with her unparalleled talent for over six decades.
Her journey is nothing short of inspiring. She embodied characters that have become iconic and endearing in the hearts of millions, from the waitress on Barney Miller to the widowed young mother in Alice. Her versatility and dedication to her craft are truly awe-inspiring.

It seems that age is merely a number for her, as she continues to outshine many younger actors with her unmatched skill and charisma.
And now, to lighten the mood just a bit, let me share a little joke: They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks – well, someone should tell that to our dear actress! She’s proving every day that she’s not only a master of her craft but also a quick learner. After all, age is just a number, and for this amazing woman, it seems to be a very small one indeed! RIP, dear actress. Your legacy will live on forever.
