TRIBE NINE to shutdown on November 27th, just months after its release in February 2025
Story Highlights
- TRIBE NINE is a 3D anime-style action RPG set in a dystopian Neo Tokyo.
- All future updates and content, including Chapter 4 and new characters, are cancelled.
- The game will issue refunds after the Support Contract – Revenio ends.
Akatsuki Games Incorporated has revealed that they will be closing down their 3D action RPG titled Tribe Nine, which was set to go live on November 27, 2025. Originally based on a cherished IP, the game started accepting pre-registrations in November of 2024 and made its debut on February 20, 2025. Unfortunately, it looks like the game won’t even make it to its first anniversary as it will be shutting down prematurely.
Despite continued efforts, TRIBE NINE will shut down less than a year after launch
If you’re not already familiar, TRIBE NINE is a dynamic 3D role-playing game boasting anime aesthetics, set against the backdrop of Neo Tokyo, a grim future cityscape. In this game, you can roam through 23 cities modeled after real Tokyo locations, form squads of three, participate in intense melee battles, employ Tension Cards, and much more.
Notice: Significant Update Regarding TRIBE NINE
We appreciate your unwavering loyalty towards TRIBE NINE.
On a sad note, we must announce that we will be discontinuing the service for TRIBE NINE as of November 27th, 2025 JST.
From its inception, our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to deliver an engaging gaming experience…

Regrettably, the developers have decided to discontinue TRIBE NINE on November 27, 2025. Despite their best attempts to offer a satisfying gaming experience, they have chosen to terminate the service after much thought and deliberation.
As a devoted fan, it’s truly disheartening to learn that, despite the game remaining accessible until its closure, all forthcoming updates and content releases have been canceled. This means we won’t be getting Chapter 4 of the story, new features, tweaks, bug fixes, or even the promised inclusion of Ichinosuke Akiba and Saizo Akiba.
You can use any remaining Enigma Entities until the EOS
After the announcement, they’ve stopped selling premium products such as Enigma Entities and Daily Passes. However, feel free to utilize any leftover Enigma Entities before the game closes down. Enjoy your remaining playtime!
Great news! You’re going to receive refunds when the current event wraps up. If you previously used Paid Enigma Entities to access Armed Support and Advanced Support, or if you bought Contract Levels for the Revenio Support Contract, then you’ll qualify for these refunds.
It’s disappointing to witness a promising game title failing to complete its first year of service due to its popularity. Many fans enjoyed the game, but the primary concern seems to be its excessively generous gacha system. Some even think it was a mistake for the game to be a gacha title altogether.
