Summary
- Travis Scott and Cactus Jack’s JACKBOYS 2 debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200
- The compilation earned 232,000 units, marking 2025’s second-largest rap album opening
- Justin Bieber’s SWAG debuted at No. 2, and Clipse’s Let God Sort Em Out at No. 4
This week, Travis Scott and his team from Cactus Jack take the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart with their release, JACKBOYS 2.
In week one, I can’t help but be thrilled that our new compilation album, JACKBOYS 2, has made quite an impact! It racked up a staggering 232,000 equivalent album units, with 160,000 coming from actual album sales and the rest from streaming and track equivalents. To be more specific, that means 94.86 million on-demand streams of our songs were accounted as streaming equivalent album units, while the remaining units came from track equivalent album units. As it stands, JACKBOYS 2 holds the second-largest opening for a rap album in 2025, trailing slightly behind Playboi Carti’s MUSIC – now that’s something to be proud of!
Apart from leading on the Billboard 200, the new release, JACKBOYS 2, simultaneously debuted as No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart and ranked No. 4 on the Top Streaming Albums chart. Moreover, this album achieved a significant milestone by recording the highest sales week for a rap album since Travis Scott’s Days Before Rodeo, which was released in September 2024.
At number two is Justin Bieber, who entered with a powerful style (SWAG), accumulating 163,000 total album units. This includes 155,000 in streaming equivalent album units (approximately 198.77 million on-demand streams), 6,000 in traditional album sales, and an additional 1,000 in track equivalent album units. The release sets a new record for Bieber’s largest streaming week and debuts at the top of the Top Streaming Album charts.
The upcoming release is “Let God Sort Em Out” by Clipse, which debuted at No. 4. In its first week, Pusha T and Malice’s first album in 16 years accumulated 118,000 equivalent album units, including 59,000 in streaming equivalent album units (77.49 million on-demand streams), 58,000 in album sales, and 1,000 in track equivalent album units. This achievement places the duo at their second highest spot on the charts, and also marks Clipse’s biggest streaming week to date.
This week’s chart also features TWICE at the sixth spot debuting with 80,000 album unit equivalents, and GIVĒON’s Beloved entering at the eighth position with 44,000 album unit equivalents.
This week, I found myself in some pretty awesome company on the top 10 charts! Right next to me at number 3 was Morgan Wallen, while the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack was just a few spots ahead at number 5. Rounding out the upper half were ATEEZ at number 7, followed by another appearance from Morgan Wallen at number 9 and SZA wrapping things up at number 10. Quite a lineup, huh?
