The cause of death for travel influencer Anunay Sood has been revealed.
The Dubai-based Indian influencer died in Las Vegas at the age of 32 on November 4.
Authorities have confirmed to The Daily Mail that Raj Sood died from a combination of fentanyl and alcohol poisoning.
The cause of death states that Sood died as a result of ‘combined fentanyl and ethanol toxicity.’
His manner of death was ruled as accidental.
According to a police report obtained by People magazine, Gurkirat Sood was at the Wynn Las Vegas when he died.
His recent Instagram posts show he went to the Las Vegas Concours 2025 car show.
His family confirmed his tragic passing in a social media announcement last month.

According to People magazine, police say that Sood, his fiancée Shivani Parihar, and a friend purchased what they thought was cocaine from a man at the Wynn casino around 4 a.m.
The report stated that the trio consumed the drug before falling asleep.
About an hour later, the women woke up, attempted to rouse Sood, and found he did not have a pulse.
He was pronounced dead by fire department officials at 7:23 a.m., per the police report.
I was shocked to hear the details – apparently, investigators found a small, clear plastic bag with some kind of white powder in the hotel room, along with a hundred-dollar bill that had been rolled up. It’s all just really unsettling.
According to the report, individuals were forming lines of the white powder and then using rolled-up bills to snort it into their noses.
Following his passing, an announcement was made on Sonu Sood’s Instagram page, where he had gained 1.5 million followers through his travel videos and posts.
Sood built a large online following by sharing his travel adventures. He has over 1.4 million followers on TikTok and almost 400,000 on YouTube, where he posts videos of his trips.

As someone who really values peace and respect, I’m asking for a little understanding and privacy right now as we’re going through a tough patch. I would be so grateful if everyone could please avoid congregating near anyone’s home or personal space. A little distance and consideration would mean the world.
The family and friends of Sonu Sood concluded their statement by asking everyone to remember his family and loved ones during this difficult time, and wishing for his peaceful rest.

She wrote that she was still in disbelief after hearing the news. “My heart is so heavy, and everything feels empty,” she shared. “I can’t even begin to process this—it just doesn’t feel real.”
She confessed she felt lost without him, saying they’d gone from making plans for the future to facing a life apart in what felt like an instant. She vowed her love would endure, even if they couldn’t be together.
A month after he passed away, she shared a collection of old photos on December 4th, remembering happy times they had together.
Today marks one month since I last heard your voice, your silly laugh, and the way you said my name – a voice I’ll never forget. People say time eases the pain, but honestly, it’s just made me feel the depth of my loss even more. I’m still deeply grieving for you.
She admitted she was still adjusting to life without him, and later shared that he had been her source of comfort, security, and everything she needed.
She ended her message by saying she missed him far more than she’d let on, more than he could possibly imagine, and more than words could ever express.
