Transformers: Galactic Trials Gameplay Features a Look at the Roguelite Racer's Playable Characters

As a seasoned gamer with decades of transforming, racing, and saving the universe under my belt, let me tell you, the latest offering from Outright Games – Transformers: Galactic Trials – has caught my attention like never before! With its roguelite twist on racing and the tantalizing prospect of wielding eleven iconic characters, each with their unique skills and weapons, it’s a dream come true for any Autobot or Decepticon enthusiast.

In a recent development, Outright Games has unveiled a fresh character video for the upcoming roguelike racing title, Transformers: Galactic Trials. This trailer highlights the eleven different characters you’ll get to control in the game, which includes five Autobots and six Decepticons

In Galactic Trials, you’ll be setting off on an adventure to retrieve the mighty Prime Relics, currently held by Nemesis Prime. Each character in the game has a pair of special abilities and their own set of weapons, which they can utilize in every race

Initially, you’ll start off by controlling Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron. As you progress, you’ll be able to switch to other characters such as Elita-1, Wheeljack, and Arcee from the Autobots team, and Shockwave, Flamewar, Soundwave, Nightbird, and Nemesis Prime on the Decepticons side

In the upcoming game, there’s a swift competition to retrieve the Prime Artifacts that boost speed, maneuverability, and attack power. The narrative-based Galactic Trials for single players will also feature a side-by-side local 2-player Arcade Mode. You can get a glimpse of it all in the gameplay video below

I’m super pumped to share that I’ll be embarking on the epic journey of Transformers: Galactic Trials! This action-packed adventure arrives for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 11th. Can’t wait to see you there, fellow Autobots and Decepticons!
