Transformers: Cyberworld New Free YouTube Series Launches in 2025

Hasbro has announced that they are developing a fresh new “Transformers” series, which will be accessible for free streaming. For more than four decades, “Transformers” have captivated audiences through animated shows and toy lines, providing both new entries into the franchise and updated remakes. A variety of projects have been conveniently distributed across Pluto TV, Roku, and their own YouTube channel, but now a brand-new “Transformers” series is being produced with the aim of being free to stream.

Through Collider, Hasbro has made it official that they are launching a brand new CGI animated series titled “Transformers: Cyberworld,” which will be available for free streaming on YouTube. Starting July 12, 2025, you can catch the first of 36 five-minute episodes on the official Transformers channel. The trailer for this series gives a hint that it may take a gaming-influenced approach to the Transformers universe with Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Elita-1, Megatron, Starscream, and Grimlock making an appearance in Cyberworld. Additionally, this series will coincide with the release of a new toyline that will soon be available on store shelves. In a press statement, Hasbro’s Global Play Leader for Action Brands, Tamara Grindrod, highlighted the interactive play possibilities that the new toyline presents for children and their families.

I’m thrilled to be a part of the journey that Cyberworld represents, as it pushes the boundaries of the Transformers universe in fresh and inventive ways. This expansive brand world offers limitless storytelling opportunities for kids and families alike, blending entertainment and play in a captivating fashion. I can’t wait to see how fans connect with Transformers: Cyberworld and the cherished moments they’ll forge as they delve deeper into this captivating series.

The Current State of the ‘Transformers’ Franchise

The animated show titled “Transformers: Cyberworld” isn’t taking the place of “Transformers: EarthSpark“. While the latter premiered in 2022 on Paramount+ and has episodes airing on Nickelodeon, the third season aired in 2024. As for now, there’s no word about Season 4. Given that “Transformers: Cyberworld” appears to be designed for a younger audience than “EarthSpark“, it seems both series can coexist.

Currently, the Transformers series finds itself at a pivotal juncture. Though fans were enthusiastic about Transformers One released in September 2024, it turned out to be a letdown financially, seemingly halting plans for a sequel or TV spin-off. Meanwhile, talks are underway for a live-action crossover between Transformers and G.I. Joe, but no additional details have been revealed since the project was hinted at in the end credits of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, almost two years ago. Once a major franchise for Paramount Pictures, the future of Transformers is now filled with uncertainty.

By offering an animated series such as “Transformers: Cyberworld” on streaming platforms like YouTube for free, and introducing a new toy line, the franchise maintains its visibility, particularly among its primary audience – young children. This widespread availability allows a larger audience to access “Transformers: Cyberworld”, making it possible for every child to enjoy this high-quality animated series from a well-known brand. This increased exposure could potentially lead to a surge in popularity for “Cyberworld”, and in the coming years, characters and elements from the new toy line might be incorporated into the lore that future live-action movies draw upon.
