Gameaki has unveiled their inaugural railway-themed puzzle game titled “Train Hero.” This exciting title is now playable on Android devices and PC via Steam. Notably, Gameaki is the first professional gaming studio situated on the island of Crete, and they’re currently developing two additional games – “Match3Racer” and “Select Quiz.” It has also been announced that Train Hero will be released on iOS in March 2025.

Train Hero is a relaxed, yet engaging railway-themed puzzle game that carries a nostalgic, retro feel. In this game, you assume the role of a train conductor, overseeing trains and changing tracks to ensure they reach their destinations promptly without any mishaps or collisions. Despite its simplicity to start playing, mastering the gameplay can prove challenging due to the diverse set of puzzles it presents.

As a passionate enthusiast, I must say that the primary goal remains unchanged: ensuring trains arrive at their destinations securely. Yet, if you’re a thrill-seeker, there’s an abundance of excitement to be had! The game offers progressively harder levels and an array of powerups to keep things interesting. For example, the Ghost powerup is a real game-changer; it allows your train to avoid all collisions with other trains, making your journey smoother and more successful.

Despite not having had extensive playtime yet, the game appears quite promising with around 120 levels, diverse character skins, captivating new environments to uncover, and multiple areas to traverse – all presented in a nostalgic art style. I plan on testing it out during my leisure hours.
