Tracker Season 3: The One Mistake That Could Ruin Everything After Season 2’s Shocking Twist!
In the last episode of season 2 for the show Tracker, Colter (Justin Hartley) starts to delve into the enigma surrounding his father’s demise. All through the series, there have been hints about Ashton Shaw’s fate, the activities he was part of, and how they connect with Mary, Colter’s mother. Fans are finding it aggravating as the show seems to be evading a compelling narrative rather than revealing it. Yet, the season 2 finale of Tracker offers a hint that perhaps next season will tackle the central mystery that has been left unresolved so far.
In his small town, Tracker uncovers a wooden sculpture inscribed with his father’s name during an investigation into his disappearance. He locates the item’s original owner, Otto, who acknowledges knowing Ashton Shaw. Caught off guard, Otto confesses to being the one who killed Tracker’s father. This encounter with Otto sheds light on Ashton Shaw for the first time and creates a sense of resolution in the storyline. The third season of Tracker promises to expose everything, but it must avoid making a crucial blunder.
Tracker Season 3 Must Not Start With A Time Jump
It Is Finally Starting To Gain Some Momentum & A Time Jump Would Slow It Back Down
In the final episode of season 1, the character of Russell, played by Jensen Ackles and introduced as Tracker’s brother, emerged as the most intriguing figure yet. After years apart due to Colter thinking Russell had killed their father, they reunited only to discover that Russell had been hiding the truth about what happened that fateful night. Although he revealed who else was involved, he didn’t know their identity, leaving things unresolved. Unfortunately, the show ended there without delving further into this intriguing backstory. In season 3, it is crucial for the story to continue exploring Colter’s past, as abruptly jumping ahead in time during season 2 hindered that development.
Although the final episode of Tracker season 2 leaves many unanswered questions and mysteries, the series is now gaining traction in exploring the Shaw family’s past. Instead of introducing new enigmas, it’s crucial for the storyline to provide answers instead. A time leap could disrupt the core mystery surrounding Ashton Shaw’s fate, which would be a frustrating blunder to repeat. After the season 1 finale, Colter seemed to stop searching for clues about his father’s life and demise until it was more convenient to resume. To keep viewers engaged, Tracker season 3 should continue directly from where it ended, or at least very close to that point.
Tracker Season 3 Needs To Finally Resolve The Shaw Family Mystery
There Is Too Much Story That Needs To Be Told, And It Is Time To Stop Ignoring It
The weekly mysteries Colter uncovers are entertaining, but they don’t fully explore the deeper narrative that the series has set up. Over time, these standalone stories may become monotonous if there aren’t longer storylines to supplement them. While Colter occasionally reveals snippets about his family and past, it doesn’t significantly contribute to the overall plot. In essence, it’s high time that we delve deeper into Colter’s family mystery. This has been building up for quite some time, and the audience is eager for resolution. If the show seems unsure of how to proceed with this storyline, it needs to be resolved promptly in the next season.
Uncovering Ashton Shaw’s murderer is just the start of a broader mystery that Colter will require all the assistance he can get to solve. Alongside his regular team, Colter will have to recruit family members to explore his parents’ past, making it crucial for the dynamics among them to take center stage in Tracker season 3. If Colter manages to persuade Russell and his sister Dory (Melissa Roxburgh) to collaborate in delving deeper into their father’s history, then the wait will prove valuable. The trio will rely on one another throughout Tracker if they are ever going to unravel what their parents were involved in.
