Trace Cyrus Claims Billy Ray Threatened Legal Action After Plea for Help

In simpler terms, Trace Cyrus alleges that his father, Billy Ray Cyrus, has threatened him with a lawsuit after a heartfelt appeal to the country singer, asking him to seek professional assistance.

Surprise was evident after the performance at the Trump inauguration by the singer known for “Achy Breaky Heart,” which many described as a disaster or mishap.

On his Instagram post over the weekend, Trace, aged 35, openly discussed the matter, penning a message specifically intended for his 63-year-old father.

‘Dad my message was beyond loving,’ the Dark Road singer began. 

He stated, “I had the chance to be incredibly truthful on multiple occasions, yet I prefer not to expose your business in such a manner. However, it’s shameful that you would use the threat of legal action against me just because I want you to seek assistance, which is unjust.

Trace went on to say, “I believe your grandpa from his father’s side is watching you with deep regret. It seems you ought to feel a sense of shame.

Dad, I’ll always have love for you, but I no longer hold you in high regard as a man. Those around you are afraid to express their true feelings. I’m not. Seek help, please.

As your devoted admirer, I’m taking a moment to extend some heartfelt encouragement to Trace’s father. I truly believe that the strong, resilient spirit we’ve all come to know is still within him. On his Instagram Stories, Trace recently uploaded two nostalgic pictures. One of them was labeled ‘Father’s Day 2022’. The ‘Prescriptions’ singer posted a picture of him and his father strolling through a meadow.

‘I’d say this was the last good day I had with my dad,’ he wrote.

A different photo depicts Billy Ray receiving a vaccination while donning a black T-shirt that reads, ‘Jesus is My Shot.’

‘Ohhh the irony,’ Trace wrote across the picture.

He clarified that he hasn’t received any communication from his father yet. However, his father has informed someone in the family that he is planning to take legal action against him due to their past conversations where he encouraged his father to seek help.

‘Dad I live 30 minutes away from your. You could’ve just come & talked to me like a man.’  

According to sources, it appears that the performer of Some Gave All at Liberty Ball is reportedly uneasy about his deepened voice. It seems he’s been feeling quite self-conscious about this change in his vocal tone.

As reported by the source, the artist was resolute about carrying on with the show despite the fact that he would have had to appear onstage with his voice, exposing himself to a potentially vulnerable position, and demonstrating to the world that his vocal abilities had undergone a transformation.

To be fair, technical difficulties interrupted the performance, causing him to improvise and sing without any accompaniment at certain moments.

On a different occasion, the outlines of the actor were visible dancing on the stage while music echoed around them – inciting social media users to describe it as ‘quite awkward’.

As a lifestyle connoisseur reflecting on the recent event, I must say I’ve moved past the slight hiccup in my performance, choosing instead to focus on the memorable moments that made it all worthwhile. After all, some things simply need to be experienced firsthand, and performing at that ball was one of those experiences I wouldn’t have wanted to miss for anything else.

On Thursday, Trace, who was adopted by Billy Ray and Tish when he was four years old in 1993, expressed his heartfelt feelings by saying, “Ever since my earliest memories, all I can recall is being infatuated with you and thinking you were incredibly awesome.

‘i wanted to be just like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life.’

Regrettably, the person whom I once aspired to emulate so deeply is hardly recognizable to me now. It appears as though life’s hardships have taken their toll on you, a reality that seems evident to others, yet not to yourself.

 Trace was correct when he wrote, ‘You may be upset with me for posting this.’

He expressed, “I honestly don’t feel much more concern at this moment,” followed by, “For years, my sisters and I have genuinely been concerned about you, but unfortunately, we’ve all drifted apart.” This includes his famous siblings Miley Cyrus, the pop star, and Noah Cyrus, an indie rocker.

In the year 2022, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus ended their marriage, and later in 2023, he wed Australian singer-songwriter Johanna Rosie Hodges (known as Firerose) shortly after.

The union didn’t last long and allegedly had its share of turmoil. They both leveled accusations of emotional, verbal, and psychological abuse against each other in documents filed prior to their divorce, which took place a year after the marriage.
