TOWIE Star Makes Shocking Return to Reality TV After 8 Years – Find Out Which Show He’s Joining!

A previous star of The Only Way Is Essex is getting ready for a return to reality television, as he’s set to join the cast of Geordie Shore, which has been eight years since he stepped out of the limelight.

In 2017, Jack Rigden, age 32, was a well-known character on TOWIE. However, he was removed from the series that year because he wasn’t able to establish a romantic connection on screen.

Currently, the partners of Geordie Shore’s Abbie Holborn, aged 27, have recently caught the attention of reality TV producers due to a new aspect in his life.

He has received an invitation to rejoin the cast of Geordie Shore, requiring him to travel to Lisbon, Portugal for several days to shoot the series.

A source told The Sun: ‘MTV bosses were over the moon when Jack agreed to fly out to Lisbon.

‘He will be filming for a few days alongside the cast for series 26 in Portugal.’

It was mentioned that since Jack’s relationship with Abbie is deepening, the producers believe it could make an excellent fit for the series.

Additionally, they acknowledged that Abbie is eagerly anticipating reuniting with her boyfriend, much like several other cast members who have their partners by their side.

Additionally, the new arrival won’t only be with Abbie; they’ll also be accompanied by their friends Jordan Brook and Sophie Kasaei. These two have already soaked up the warmth of the Portuguese sunlight.

On the forthcoming season of Geordie Shore, Jack isn’t the sole ex-celebrity coming back; additionally, Gaz Beadle and Aaron Chalmers are set to reappear in the limelight as well.

Similar to Jack, Gaz has remained out of the public eye for a span of eight years, even though he was one of the original cast members on Geordie Shore.

In late 2024, it’s said that Jack and Abbie started off as friends, but eventually their relationship evolved into something more romantic.

Then, in February, they decided to make it official.

Previously, Abbie confessed that her love life had pushed her very close to experiencing a breakdown due to stress.

She said that things got so bad that at one point she thought she was going to be single forever.  

Before her new romance, footage emerged in the latest series’ trailer (shot in Thailand) showing Abbie passionately kissing her ex, Scotty T.

In a camera shot, Scotty appears with a backward-facing black cap and an open, sleeveless shirt that reveals his well-toned abdomen.

Displaying his sun-kissed complexion, Scotty completed his ensemble with a pair of black shorts before addressing the camera, saying, “Turbo T has returned, my dear fans. Have I been missed?
