TOWIE star Lauren Goodger arrives at the airport for filming in Portugal after revealing she was terrified to leave daughter Larose for the first time and to combat her fear of flying

Lauren Goodger showed a resilient demeanor upon arriving at the airport, confessing that she found it difficult to part from her daughter Larose for the initial time.

38-year-old reality TV personality from TOWIE embarked on a trip to Portugal alongside the show’s cast members on Thursday for the upcoming season of their hit ITVBe program.

Yet, merely hours prior to being photographed at the departure lounge, Lauren shared with her followers that she was anxious about parting from her daughter and overcoming her fear of flying.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I warmly greeted little Larose, who turned 4, accompanied by her father, Charles Drury. It’s been a vacation-less stretch for me ever since her birth, as my priority has always been ensuring she feels loved and cared for in my absence.

Early in the morning at 5 o’clock, Lauren shared a selfie on Instagram Stories, saying she was heading to the airport. It’s been more than five years since she last did that!

I’m experiencing a blend of feelings, with great pride swelling up within me since I stayed awake for much of the night, contemplating whether to back out… or not.

Embracing my little one reminded me of a long, sleepless night filled with tender kisses. Despite being nearly four years old, I’ve always made it a point to never leave her unattended, not even for a moment, to do something for myself.

I want to express my gratitude to ITV, ITVOfficial, and the entire TOWIE family at Towie. You’ve been instrumental in assisting me, and I can’t thank you enough. Moreover, there’s something significant I’ll be revealing soon that has played a crucial role in my journey so far.

Although she had initial apprehensions in the early hours, Lauren wore a cheerful expression while putting on a beige coordinated outfit and Hermes sandals for the journey ahead.

She carried her possessions in a brown Chanel handbag, as well as a suitcase embellished with her initials ‘LG’ on the exterior.

Lauren opted for a bouncy blow dry and a glam palette of make up. 

She was also accompanied by the cheerful duo, Junaid Ahmed and Joe Blackman, both sporting casual attire with hoodies and shorts.

TOWIE have reportedly splashed £150,000 on a cast getaway to celebrate the show’s 15th anniversary.

Fan favourites will stay at the five-star resort in the Algarve for a two-week trip.

Filming will start on June 6th, where popular choices will be lodged at a luxurious Algarve resort for a fortnight’s stay.

With more than 95 individuals forming part of the production crew, this project ranks among the most significant international productions that the show has undertaken to date.

The Westin Algarve has been chosen as the cast’s base. 

The five-star resort is expected to serve as the stunning backdrop for much of the upcoming drama.

Ahead of time, producers are scouting out the top beach clubs, bars, and nightlife hotspots throughout the Algarve before anyone else.

The show’s organizers find Portugal to be the most suitable destination, given that it boasts a sunny climate and is conveniently located just a 2.5-hour flight from the United Kingdom.
