TOWIE and Love Island stars hit the Fashion Awards as UK’s answer to the MET Gala fills its blue carpet with reality royalty

Reality TV stars from shows like TOWIE and Love Island attended the 2025 Fashion Awards in London on Monday, turning the event’s blue carpet into a showcase of celebrity culture – often compared to the MET Gala.

Zara McDermott turned heads at the TV event in a stunning white dress with one shoulder and silver bead detailing.

She was joined by fellow Love Island stars Olivia Atwood, Maura Higgins and Tasha Ghouri.

Stars from The Only Way Is Essex, including Jessica Wright, Lucy Mecklenburgh, and Pete Wicks, were among those at the event. Vicky Pattison, formerly of Geordie Shore, also attended and posed for pictures.

Zara debuted her new brunette hairstyle as she arrived for the ceremony in the layered gown.

Maura wore a black and white pinstriped skirt with a bold white bralet, and a large, eye-catching headpiece.

I absolutely loved Olivia’s outfit! She paired a cute strapless bra top and mini skirt – a perfect combo – and then topped it off with a long, cozy wool coat. It was such a chic and unexpected look!

Tasha looked stunning in a burnt orange silk dress, which she paired with a bold gold necklace. She styled her hair in an elegant updo.

I was so impressed with Jessica from TOWIE’s outfit recently! She looked incredible in this really chic, metallic brown dress – it had this amazing corset detail that gave it a leather-look edge. She totally rocked it!

She completed her outfit with matching stiletto heels and bold, chunky earrings.

Pete put on a dapper display in a double breasted tuxedo with a satin collar and silver brooch.

Lucy looked stunning at the event, wearing a shimmering pink dress with an art deco design, just like many other celebrities.

The event started in 1989 as the British Fashion Awards. In 2016, it was renamed to better represent the international range of designers and creatives it celebrates.

The awards show first took place at the famous Royal Albert Hall. Since then, it’s been held at the Natural History Museum on four occasions and at the Victoria & Albert Museum three times.

The group went back to the Royal Albert Hall in 2016 and has been a fixture there ever since, regularly attracting major figures from the fashion world.

The awards show has hosted a wide range of iconic figures, from Princess Diana and the Spice Girls to fashion designers like Vivienne Westwood and Karl Lagerfeld, attracting stars from the worlds of fashion and entertainment.

Actor Colman Domingo hosted this year’s ceremony and honored the awards’ British roots by wearing Burberry on the red carpet.

As a lifestyle expert, I can tell you the annual fashion awards are the night to see and be seen! It’s a huge celebration recognizing both the established stars and the exciting new talent shaping the world of fashion. We’re talking about the people who truly define style – from names you know and love to the designers who are just starting to make waves.
