The much-anticipated open-world MMORPG titled “Tower of Fantasy,” published by Perfect World Games, is set to introduce a new server called “Warped Server” in China during August 2025. This exciting venture, as developers refer to it, promises a challenging adventure that recaptures the essence of traditional MMOs. Players can engage in trading, exploration, and progression through gameplay without any reliance on gacha systems.

You unlock weapons, cosmetics, and through gameplay via the Tower of Fantasy Warped Server

A significant shift is the elimination of the gacha system entirely. This means all weapons, including the potent and highly sought-after ones, will be accessible for free at the beginning. You’ll initially receive six powerful weapons, with additional unlockables up for grabs through daily logins. Even premium cosmetic items and mounts will be attainable through gameplay rather than random pulls.

Moving forward, trading is set to reappear as an option in the game. You’ll now be able to swap items such as cosmetics, matrices, and materials with other players through a novel two-tiered system. We will provide a Trade House for everyday trades, and an Auction House for larger, global transactions.

In order to maintain an engaging experience, we’re planning regular, seasonal updates for Warped Server. This means gear and power levels will cycle, making it easier for newcomers to join in and giving everyone a compelling reason to come back. Furthermore, multiplayer content is being enhanced with more rewarding payoffs, promoting teamwork among players.

In the Warped Server of Tower of Fantasy, you’ll find some fresh social and guild updates! Guilds will now have personalized bases for members to gather and arrange events at their leisure. Additionally, cooperative activities such as group dances, parades, recruitment areas, and gift-giving systems are being implemented.

In a battle with your bosses, you can now activate Team Ultimate Abilities under certain specific circumstances, leading to spectacular chain attacks. Yet, despite this significant modification, remember that the Warped Server will not be substituting for the primary or Reboot servers.

Warped Servers represents our latest endeavor, tailored for gamers seeking an authentic MMO experience free from paywalls. Beginning in August 2025, you’ll be given the opportunity to contribute to this world’s development through the Warped Server Co-Creation Initiative. While the exact date is yet to be confirmed, Chinese players are encouraged to keep an eye on updates.
